I came from out of town for a refresher course here at SA Scuba and it was a great experience. I had a weekend free up and they were able to get me into the regular open water certification on short notice. Greg and Erick were very professional and they do things by the book here (like it’s supposed to be done). Instruction was very thorough and for me not having dove in over 9 years, it was perfect. There’s a great community here as well with trips being booked for students together as a group which, for me having no friends that like to scuba, is amazing. I’d recommend these guys to anyone and I’ll be visiting again. – via

I highly recommend the NAUI beginner scuba course offered by SA scuba shack. I personally could not continue with it due to not feeling confident in my swimming/breathing skills. However, the instructors were excellent. Melissa and Jim are professionals. They helped myself and the other students tremendously. They both gave me extra help and attention when I needed it, and were very warm and welcoming to everyone with different skills sets. The entire staff at SA Scuba Shack was superb, despite my personal inability to continue with this activity. Highly recommend it for anyone who is interested in trying scuba diving. – via

Great people. Staff was so helpful in answering questions and they did it in such a way that I didn’t feel stupid. Seriously, I don’t know anything about diving but I do now!! I took their Discover Scuba class and it was eye opening. The instructor, Terry Britt, was extremely knowledgeable and patient. What a great day!! – via Google

Totally recommend!!!
After much research and MANY phone calls, we chose SA SCUBA Shack to certify our 17 yr old son. They were very knowledgeable & passionate, about diving. I spoke to Brandon at the SHACK. He made sure all of our questions/concerns were addressed to alleviate any anxiety our son ( and I ) may of had. Our son is now certified and feels very confident about his diving abilities. One of the things I love most about the SHACK is the sense of family that this group has offered. In addition, they also contribute back to the community in more ways than one. There is the HERO SCUBA GROUP, which through scuba diving, outings and support, helps Veterans and First-Responders who are dealing with trauma/anxiety (which I know about first hand!) reduce the effects. We went into SA SCUBA SHACK expecting to leave w/ just a certification. We left with much, much more than that. We now are apart of the SA SCUBA family! – via Google

Bill was a great instructor, on my first dive I was very nervous but he helped me overcome my anxiety and helped me to be more comfortable under water. I got my open water certification and my husband did a refresher course. We highly recommend Bill and SA Scuba Shack – via Google

I am a certified Advanced Diver for over 30 years. My family and I have a trip planned to the Caribbean this summer and I thought it would be great for the rest of the family to also get certified so we can experience diving together. Scuba Shack was very accommodating of our busy schedule and we are now all certified. It was easy working with the owner coordinating the open water part of the course. Their rental gear is in good condition. For our class we had Bill for our instructor. Retired Air Force and I will say very patient and passionate about teaching SCUBA diving. Let’s just say someone in our family was very nervous about diving and through BIll’s patience and experience teaching, that person is now certified and actually really likes it now. I highly recommend SA Scuba Shack for all your diving needs. – via Google
