Unfortunately, I did not stay at the resort. However, I was staying in a rental apartment next door.
When we first arrived I had a hard time getting my internet connected. I walked next door and the ladies were so lovely that they let me use the wifi in the restaurant.
As I was getting in contact with the property owners about my internet I had a lovely ginger mojito sitting on the beach staring at the sea.
Since we rented an apartment with a kitchen I only ate at the Robert’s Grove restaurant twice. Both times the food is spectacular, the view is breathtaking, the drinks are perfectly made, and the service is top-notch.
I hope to stay at the resort sometime because it’s perfectly located in the Seine Bite area of the peninsula. Apologies for not rating the accommodations in the review.
I can’t speak for the resort but if you are in the Seine Bite area I highly recommend the restaurant. – via

I have been here many times in the past and always bring friends and recommend it. However, the security guard today was on a power trip. I realized I came in the exit, but there weren’t any other vehicles coming so I went ahead and parked on a slant just like the SUV next to me. He proceeded to walk all the way across the parking lot to chastise me for coming in the exit. As I was unloading my walker, he came back and said I needed to park the golf cart straight. This was really ignorant on his part, because then I would have taken up 2 parking spaces. I told him I would forgo having lunch there because of his behavior. This didn’t seem to bother him. Business is still so slow here that a snotty security guard should not be turning away paying customers. – via

Very friendly service and great, place to stay the beach could use some work but overall the place is great pools awesome and employee’s are super friendly. If you plan on eating out and not trying to spend a lot of money go to the small shacks they have excellent food and the portions are great for half the cost at the high end restaurants we spent 14 us dollars for 3 meals rather then 50 us dollars out on our first night locals are also friendly – via

Stopped in for lunch, did not stay at resort. I was the only one in restaurant. Ordered the garden salad. Salad was smothered in white onion. Worst salad I had while 7 days in Placencia, plus I think it was $17 US dollars. The server never came back to table. I had to look for her to get my bill. Only thing nice was the deck had a nice view. – via

Place has really went downhill. The Boardwalk and decks have loose and numerous rotten boards. The food is horrible compared to years ago. Staff is totally incompetent. No towels at the pool. Went to take a shower no water pressure, front desk said they would get maintenance to turn on pump ( why was it off). One towel in the room front desk gave me a pool towel ( had those in a supply room in the back not at the pool). $400 a night will get you much more at many other resorts in Belize. – via

We stayed here before and after a sailing excursion which departed from a marina across the street. The rooms were air conditioned which was great given the heat. The pools were fabulous and the ocean was steps away. You can borrow paddle boards and bikes for free. The food and drinks were great and the service was also wonderful. – via

Best place with the best service in the entirety of Placencia!!! Kimberly is one of the senior managers in this resort herself and her team are the most welcoming group I have ever had when booking a hotel in any country. Kim made sure to contact every agency around in order to ensure that i have the best experience in terms of adventure excursions in Belize. The food in the result is excellent the rooms are big and spacious you can easily have a family share one room. Breakfast is always served with the best care and excellent attention to detail – this became a home for me so don’t hesitate book this resort and enjoy Placencia in its greatness 🙂
