I go to shields all the time and usually have a great experience. Some basic lures like gulp are priced to high. Also, I have trouble getting live shrimp that are longer than my pinky finger and I wish they’d sell fiddler crabs. Employees are always friendly and professional. – via

I purchased a boat from Shields Marina, Brett (and his father) specifically is who I worked with. I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I had trailer tire issues a week after the sell which resulted in some minor damage which Brett took upon himself to reimburse me for totally when it was never expected of him. He kept in constant communication with me about issues or questions and was always very easy to get ahold of and a stand up guy all around. I would recommend Shields for anyone for any boating needs they may have. It’s truly hard to find the kind of business leader these days who works with hand shakes before deposits. I appreciate the effort and am grateful for the experience. – via

I did not actually use the Marina for it’s intended purpose. Instead, I drove down there Saturday night and star gazed. The lack of lights really let you see the stars, and you have a beautiful view when you look towards the tree line! – via
