Clearly the team has changed since the last reviews. I went with my partner (Open Dive Certificate) to do a Try Dive. Our instructor spent literally 5 minutes with me, after we asked him twice to come, explaining the basic signs and rules. I had never dived before, he explained things quickly, carelessly and not even everything I had to knew – my partner had to explain more things to me before we went into the water as I did not even have techniques for decompression. The instructor spent the whole time on the boat looking at his phone, did not speak with other members of the crew/other instructors or other divers. Other instructors were speaking negatively of Reefers (we could see why) and tried to help us. We ended up having two short 30 minutes dives when most of the others were there for almost 50 minutes each time. The instructor was diligent in the water but did not cooperate, show us stuff or did anything that was not essential for us to survive. On top of this, when we went back, the owner of the shop wanted to charge my partner 800 bahts on top of the agreed price because she had “received a refresher” by listening to my “lesson”. I enjoyed diving but not thanks to Reefers – totally not recommend, it could have even been dangerous if my partner had not known and assisted me. Avoid. – via
