Really enjoyed my 4 dives with the Reef Oasis Diving School. I felt in good hands all the time. All the teachers were very helpful and good-hearted, helping you to put on your fins, entering and exiting the boat and taking their time for a good briefing before the dives. They always made sure you understood everything they told you.
During the dives, the instructors always looked out for animals to show you. We have seen Sting Rays, a lot of different beautiful fish and a huge seecow/manatee, which swam with us (my highlight)
Especially Kim and Amanda were very kind and friendly, always giving you helpful tips, advice and consultation.

This is an absolutely wonderful dive/scuba shop. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Kim and Narcisso were our primary instructors and they were phenomenal. Miguel, the owner, is also incredibly friendly and provided a ton of information. The shop is very reasonably priced too. The St. George wreck is a breathtaking dive. You do not need to stay at the resort to take the lessons or go on dives but it is convenient. A fantastic place to learn how to scuba or take an amazing wreck dive, cannot recommend enough! – via

Reef Oasis Dive Center at the Wyndham Viva Dominicus Beach Resort is an excellent and professional world class dive center. I found this site after looking through PADI 5 Star centers in the Dominican Republic. They exceeded my expectations. It was my hope that I could arrange for my daughter to get Open Water certified and for myself to get Advanced Open Water certified. Miguel Somedilla was extremely helpful and accommodating in making the arrangements. With their excellent training, we both completed the necessary courses in 2 days. Narcisso took extra time teaching my daughter and was very patient. I worked with Kim. She was a bit mind boggling. She is a Belgian marine biologist, of course. She conducted dive briefings in 4 or 5 languages with ease, because she can. She was uber-knowledgeable, especially about marine life. She got me through the compass navigation course, which is always been a challenge for me, with a little trouble. We then did a deep dive on the wreck of the St. George.
