Spent a week here doing a Scuba photography workshop. The rooms were lovely, the service was excellent. Food consisted of morning, lunch and dinner buffets and had a variety of options. The scuba and photography staff were helpful and I would definitely recommend for all levels of experience.

Definitely will be coming back! – via google

Great destination for a relaxed dive trip. The rooms are good
The ocean view rooms have a private balcony but the pool area rooms are a bit closer to the activity. Both are good options
The staff are wonderful… always very helpful. The diving is wonderful and the dive staff are great. There are bikes available for guests to explore the island. You can rent scooters nearby. There are a couple of other restaurants on the island for variety but the food at the resort restaurant is already good with lots of choices. There are kayaks available for guests, hammocks and beach chairs.
There’s not a lot of snorkeling in front of the hotel but other areas around the island. – via google

A charming, well-maintained, and service-oriented paradise!

Just big enough that you can do your own thing, but just small enough that it always feels like you’re staying in a close-knit community. The rooms and grounds are always well-kept. Everyone on staff is above-and-beyond friendly, from the maintenance to the housekeeping to the food service to the front desk to the dive shop.

Having the world-class dive shop Reef Divers attached to the property is a great plus, but this would also be a great place to stay even if you’re not diving. – via google

4.0/ 5

The property maintained to a high level. Dive boat service was at its usual high standard. Resort staff are friendly and attentive.

Please note, under the new international rules limiting “Open Water” certified divers to 60 feet, the LCBR dive leader will seldom venture below that depth, and then only for a few minutes. Not a big hindrance since all the color and wildlife is in <60, but if you’re expecting to go deep, they discourage that in the dive briefings.

Still, some of the most spectacular diving in the Caribbean.

Food in the bar is filled with hidden charges. First, everything is in Cayman dollars. Not unexpected. Add 10%. Then there is an 18% gratuity and another 15% add for “service charge”. Many people don’t read that all gratuities will be charged and they often add a tip on top of all those surcharges. LCBR should list the full inclusive price without all the hidden add ins.

My only major disappointment is the quality of the kitchen. In last years, the food quality, preparation, and presentation was “cruise ship” quality. Today, the meals were poorly cooked (often dry and overcooked) and the quality of meats served were below that of our previous visits.

The buffet table is poorly attended after the initial rush of people coming in at opening and several dishes go empty until you hunt someone down to replenish them. Guest shouldn’t have to do that.

Still a great place to go, but not as good as it used to be. – via google

5.0/ 5

This dive resort is the closest experience you can have to living on a live aboard dive boat. Only much better! The grounds are well maintained and the rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The meals, all served buffet style, provide multiple choices, an excellent variety and are delicious. The staff, from house keeping, chefs and wait staff are friendly and accommodating. I cannot say enough about Tamara, the resort manager. She’s always available to solve any issue, large or small and does it with a smile. At karaoke night encouraged her to sing – you would think Adele was at the mic. The outdoor bar is well stocked and run by a talented group of friendly and outgoing bartenders.
The dive operation is nothing short of amazing! True valet service is provided on the boats by a cadre of personable and talented dive professionals. They provide detailed dive briefings complete with colored illustrations and points of interest. Again, they are a warm and friendly group whose main objective is to allow you to enjoy world class diving while unobtrusively keeping you safe. The entire dive operation is overseen by Sharon, a lovely no nonsense woman with a wry sense of humor. From the boats to the nitrox fill station to the gear rinse tanks, everything is run and kept in tip top shape and Bristol fashion.
In all regards, Little Cayman Beach Resort is, without a doubt, a world class destination and will not disappoint. – via google

4.0/ 5

I stayed at The Club and dived for 4 days. Here are some feedbacks:

The dive sites and shop were excellent: good system of Nitrox checking, prompt and efficient valet service, and courteous and knowledgeable boat crew. The weather was not too great during most of the days that I was there but obviously that is beyond anyone’s control. Adam, Jill, and Tom in particular were very helpful. For those reading, please remember to tip the dive staff well and thank them for what they do above and beyond behind the scenes that we don’t see to make this experience excellent for us divers.

Some suggestion to consider based on my experience with other resorts: consider an initial survey on the first day to guests about dive sites of request or on the converse, if divers have dived at other spots and if they wouldn’t mind diving there again so the staff and try to integrate people’s wishes. Also, consider investing in having some steel HP tanks on hand. They are more expensive than aluminum but many people, including me would be happy to pay extra for it (like Nitrox). Even if you charge $2 extra per tank, you will turn a profit and the tanks will pay for themselves in just one month. Options for DIN over Yoke connection (insert so it is interchangeable with just a Hex key) is also worth considering, perhaps at the next major cylinder overhaul and visual inspection time.

The food at Birds of Paradise was amazing; hats off to the chef and service staff for their friendly service. The alcohol at the Nut Bar was a bit expensive for the volume of cocktail that was made. But at a remote resort in Little Cayman, I understand the overhead cost is high so it is understandable and fair. Having a readily available menu and price for common cocktails posted may also be nice. Service staff at the bar was once again, very friendly. Every single person deserves commendations.

The accommodation at The Club can benefit from minor improvements: the unit I stayed in’s TV wasn’t working the first day (but to be fair, quickly rectified), and the carafe/pot of the coffee maker was missing. Neither were big deals because I was not making fair use of either of these items, but someone else might. The biggest complaint was the lack of noise insulation; my neighbors in the unit across me was having normal indoor voice conversation and I could hear every word; the walls are paper thin. They woke me at 5am in the morning (not their fault, they were just talking normally) and I had to put on noise cancelling headphones to go back to sleep. I also wasn’t made aware that there would not be room service during my stay. I am neat and did not fall short of towels so it’s not a big deal; I would just like to have been made aware.

The management at the resort earned my respect; going around for personal surveys so they can work on things real-time shows they care. Most importantly, recognizing the staff’s contribution and presenting their contributions by name at the end of the week to the guests at dinner is an extremely uplifting experience for staff and gives guests a chance to thank them. Overall, this is an excellent resort and I will definitely come back but I would like to try staying at the main resort next time, especially because I didn’t know about the 7-day cycle of new guests that the resort hosts. I hope some of my ideas will be taken into consideration. – via google
