Wir haben leider keine so gute Erfahrung mit Nava gemacht wie in den anderen Rezensionen beschrieben. Wir sind auf einen Fun Dive zum Sail Rock gefahren. Morgens gab es große Verwirrung weil nicht so richtig klar war, welche Tasche mit Tauch Equipment zu wem gehört- außerdem wurde bei einem von uns alles in einer falschen Größe eingepackt. Später beim Essen wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass Nava nicht weitergeleitet habe, wie viele Vegetarier dabei sind, sodass es nur für uns (von der Nava Tauchschule) kein Veggie Essen gab. Der Rest des Tauchgangs lief gut. Trotzdem waren wir nicht so richtig zufrieden mit allem. – via

Great service, very professional and had a lot of fun diving (George was a super funny and highly motivated instructor)! Would go there again, especially when you are new to diving! ??
Biggest plus for travelers who do not have a lot of time: you can book an e-learning course and complete the knowledge test in advance. Therefore you get there prepared and you don‘t need to spend all the time revising in the evening. Plus you can enjoy the dive experience even more and be fully present (it also costs a little less which is great because compared to sone other centers Reef is slightly more expensive). Yet they also offer a full-time service with being picked-up by a Shuttle, water, towels etc. All in all, we had a great time and we would definitively do our Open Water there again! – via

Im Reef Dive Center wurden wir vollkommen versorgt 🙂

Mein Freund und ich haben ein Try Diving Paket mit 2 Tauchgängen gebucht.
In Kooperation mit der Tauchschule ,,Dive Point‘‘ direkt am Sairee Pier hat uns das Reef Dive Center ermöglicht die wunderschöne Unterwasserwelt im Japanese Garden zu erleben.
Der Transfer zur Tauchschule, sowie ein Lunch Paket waren bei uns vom Hotel Beach Club by Haadtien inklusive. (Dort ins das Reef Dive Center stationiert).

Ein besonderes Dankeschön möchte ich an Mrs Golf richten, die sich um all unsere Sorgen und Wünsche gekümmert! Bei ihr haben wir uns als Tauchanfänger sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Danke! 🙂

Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt ist der Preis, der im Verhältnis zu anderen Anbietern ein wenig teurer ist. Dennoch hält dieser sich im Rahmen und letztendlich ist er für den guten Rund-Um-Service total angemessen.

Visited this dive center whilst being a guest of Haad Tien Resort, had a Thai girl sitting behind a desk. Sadly she can not give sufficient information and has low to no knowledge about diving. Not really professional experience.

I looked at their prices and saw that their open water course was more than 17700 baht. The prices of the other dive shops on the island are 11000 baht. So I was thinking to book a one time experience with Reef DIve (due to the high prices of the full course), but when I was in Sairee I noticed that the prices there are around 2500,-, whilst Reef charges 5800,- . Total Ripp off !!

I booked my discover scuba experience elsewhere and that dive centre came and picked me up at the reception for free. The shop looks nice, but their prices are way too high and Thai staff has no clue.

Most expensive divecenter on Koh Tao
Reef Dive centre on Koh Tao is the most expensive dive center on Koh Tao. Their prices are almost double than the other divecenters. This because they are located in a resort that claims to be a 4*. (hahaha)

Very unpleasant speedboat captain that needs to learn what the term service with a smile means.

Their big boat always moores up way to far, so our surface swim was very long. When the instructors mentioned this to the captain he got agressive towards the crew and starts shouting in Thai. This in plain sight.

Many times our tanks were only 150 bar or even lower. The Thai crew does not care. The instructors do, but have no saying nor control. Not one single Thai staff has scuba experience, but will agrue with the instructors. (and this in front of the guests)

This dive centre has a lot of potential, but the Thai managment of the resort controls everything, …and thats why this centre is failing.

We are a new sort of fish!

At Reef we were able to get our PADI open water Dive certificate. It was a absolutely stunning experience and our first dive at all. We can truly recommend the school also if you have to pay a bit more. We absolutely got what we paid for: a personal group with our own highly experienced instructor and skills above the PADI standard.
We joined a new world and are now absolutely addicted to the sport.
Davi kindly introduced us to the possibilities of learning at the course. During the course our lovely instructor Omar guided us through all the skills and exceeded our expectations! He is not only more than qualified for the instructor job, he is as well the best teacher we ever had. He managed all problems and emotional situations on the dive very well.
Thank you very much! Studying on our holidays seemed at first unlikly but after the course we are sad that the time passed so fast.

There is actually no Management responsible for the dive center, no dive Master or instructor in charge. Our beeing here for a week and every day diving annnounced to the center 2 months ago was answered that everything is arranged . And exactly nothing was or could be arranged. Each day a friendly servant has new ideas why we cannot dive. Its a shame! When you intend diving think twice booking the Resort .?? – via
