Best day of diving ever. Auston (the owner) and Jay took us out. The wreck of the of the River Taw was great. Then, to a great reef. Teeming with interesting sea life. The next day, we dove with sharks! We wrapped up with a visit to a thermal outlet. Skip the ship excursion and book with Pro Divers directly. We felt 100% comfortable with their professionalism, experience, and level of local knowledge-over 40 years in the area. We will definitely use Pro Divers again.

There were 3 of us diving. The 2 more inexperienced divers would rate Pro Divers at 4/5 and the more experienced diver would rate them at 3/5. To start, we waited at the marina between 45 minutes to an hour while we waited for all divers to show up. The 1st dive site was a reef with sharks. My brother in law was a newbie diver. This was his 1st time seeing sharks. As you can imagine, he was like a kid in a candy store. The downside of this dive was bc there were so many divers of varying abilities, we stayed close to the mooring line so those who ran out of air could ascend while others dove. A diver could blanket the dive location in 20-25 minutes so diving the same small area got old. The 2nd dive was a wreck. This was pretty cool bc there was a decent size moray eel and a shark. The wreck only had 2-3 small side pieces remaining so it was relatively a small area to dive. Just like 1st dive, in 20-25 minutes, you blanketed the dive site and there was nothing else to see after that. This is more suited to beginner divers. – via

He picked me up and dropped me off at my hotel. Great skipper and dive guide. we did some real diving. Great company. Don’t change a thing – via

Wir sind mit dem Kreuzfahrtschiff angereist und wurden direkt am Hafen vom Besitzer Auston der Tauchschule eingesammelt. Das Schiff ist nur wenige Geh Minuten entfernt und bietet sehr viel Platz. Beim ersten Tauchgang haben wir viele Haie und Lobster gesehen. Beim zweiten waren wir bei Schiffswracks. Auston war mit uns tauchen und hat uns alles gut erklärt. Beide Tauchausflüge waren sehr sehenswert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier tauchen gehen. – via

Went on a two tank dive with my daughter. Absolutely terrific crew. Organized, safe, and fun. Austin runs a tight ship, he knows the dive sites in and out and the two dives were fantastic. Lobsters, puffer fish, eals, nosy sharks, lion fish etc.

Could agree more with all the reviews. Strongly recommend Pro Divers. – via

5 Stars from Start to Finish!

Margot’s quick reply and clear explanation on details had us sold immediately, the booking process was easy and we were given confirmation for our dive scheduled for our chosen day!

Once we arrived in port it was a quick walk to the marina from our cruise ship and Auston our boat captain and dive guide welcomed us and quickly helped us to get settled onboard so we could head out.

Our dive briefing was very detailed and informative and from descent to ascent it was a wonderful dive with numerous reef sharks, sea turtles and much, much more!

We had a couple of great dives with them. We did a wreck and a reef. The wreck was in the 40-60′ range with lots of fish and things ro see. The second dive had sharks and Austin fed them a couple of lion fish he found. They were great helping me on and off the boat since I need some help with that now. – via

It has to be the best dive shop in the northeast tom and tom are so knowledgeable and always fair priced. It just has that warm family atmosphere when you walk in. Highly recommend stopping in for a full dive gear or just a beach towel and bucket to play in the sand they have it . Theay also have some local artists works that my wife loved. – via
