Where to start… Took a prescription mask into this company back in November 2014 to have a new lense fitted. I had used the mask for snorkeling and my wife and I wanted to learn to dive. Once the mask had a new lense we were going to book the taster dive followed, hopefully, by the full padi course.
After severall months of chasing, both with phone calls and emails, I finally recieved a call back stating the person who took my order left and it wasn’t handed over. Apparently while the mask was with their fitters, a crack was identified meaning they couldn’t complete the work. The mask was handed over to the company with no cracks whatsoever.
When challenged on this, along with the extreme lack of communication from the company, the person I spoke with refused to take any kind of ownership and would not accept that it could have happened in their care. I was informed that if I wanted the work completed, I would have to pay for a new mask and offered nothing in relation to the several months I had waited due to an error on their side. All I was offered was the return of my mask and this even took well over a month to arrange.
All in all, quite possibly the worst customer experience I have come across. I wanted to support a local business and pay that bit extra than I would have online to do so, but they have not made that possible. – via
