Pluto and Barbara were very easy to work with in coordinating the dives before my trip to Playa del Carmen. They were very communicative and helpful. I did two days of diving through Pluto. One day with Barbara in the reefs of PdC and one day with one of their partner shops (coordinated through Pluto) to Cozumel. Both days offered great diving at a good rate. Pluto stored my gear between days which was incredibly helpful and also assisted finding a battery for my dive computer. Definitely recommend Pluto! – via

I booked three days of diving and was given a reasonable up front cost all included, unlike many of the other shops in the area. It was a breeze to book, and the small group sizes were also fantastic. Overall it was the antithesis of the overcrowded, overbooked experience I was expecting for playa. I did a wreck dive, a shark, dive a few reef dives, and two cenote dives. It was a great experience! – via

My whole experience getting scuba certified was an absolute blast! Barbara was really nice and did a great job preparing us so that when it came to our first ocean dive, I felt competent and capable. It also helped that they spoke English, Italian, and Spanish, so communication was no problem at all. I would absolutely pick Pluto dive again for further certification and highly recommend them for anyone wanting to scuba dive or get scuba certified. – via

I am extremely satisfied with all the dives. Diving in the crystal clear waters of cenotes is a beautiful experience.

Pluto Dive is my top pick for a scuba diving outfitter in the whole Yucatán. Barbara and her team are top notch and run an efficient and professional operation.

My father and I did cenote dives with Alfredo and felt well taken care of. Safety was a top priority.

Two days later my wife and I did a local dive on the reefs and saw a variety of fish and coral. It was a very enjoyable experience and we plan to join Pluto Dive again for our next underwater adventure. – via

My partner and I are newly certified divers who had not been diving for close to one year. We felt very comfortable going out with Barbara, who was very professional and lead us the entire way. We did two ~1hr dives close to the shore, our first times off a boat. Barbara pointed out interesting sea creatures for us and she calmly helped my partner get through a little situation underwater. Her expertise was very much needed, and I would not hesitate to train with her in the future. Thank you for the great dives! – via

I met Pluto Dive after a search in the area, as I was looking for an Italian diving. I can say that the dives made in the Cenotes with Mauro (Momo) have been, to say the least, Exciting!! The experience acquired by immersing myself in the six Cenotes turns out to be remarkable, then with Mauro, a diver of considerable experience, he allowed me to dive in complete tranquility in an environment other than the coral reefs.
The dive made with Barbara in the environment of the Bull Sharks added a jolt of pure adrenaline, truly Exceptional!!! The evaluation of Pluto Dive is maximum I would say a 10 +++ Dictated by the seriousness, precision and care with which they prepare the dives, without detracting from the sympathy in putting me at ease. Ciao sono Claudio, ho fatto una vacanza a Playa del Carmen dal 19 gennaio 2023 al 02 febbraio 2023, la vacanza era all’insegna delle immersioni. Ho conosciuto Pluto Dive dopo una ricerca in zona, in quanto cercavo un diving italiano. Posso dire che le immersioni fatte nei Cenote con Mauro (Momo)sono state a dir poco, Entusiasmanti!! L’esperienza acquisita immergendomi nei sei Cenote risulta essere notevole, poi con Mauro, subacqueo di notevole esperienza mi ha permesso di immergermi in tutta tranquillità in ambiente diverso dalle barriere coralline.
L’immersione fatta con Barbara nell’ambiente degli Squali Toro, ha aggiunto una botta di adrenalina pura, veramente Eccezionale!!! La valutazione di Pluto Dive è massima direi un 10+++ Dettata dalla serietà, la precisione e la cura con cui preparano le immersioni, nulla togliendo alla simpatia nel mettermi a mio agio. Grazie di cuore a tutti, Alberto (il Boss), Barbara e Mauro.

My first cenote dive was with Pluto Dive and it was awesome. I was by myself but it wasn’t problem and I Dive with Alberto. I didn’t have bit experience but Alberto chose great cenote to dive for the first time. Good prices and nice people. It was June 2022 but I forgot to give rate earlier ;). – via

Family-run, friendly dive shop full of local (multi-lingual!) experts! Barbara was very helpful recommending what dive trip to do, and Momo was a great dive guide – very encouraging, helpful and reassuring (which I appreciated since it had been 3 years since my last dive!) I ended up doing a 2 cenote dives in Tajma Ha and would highly recommend both the dive shop as well as the dive itself! Grazie mille Pluto! – via

I was there for almost 3 weeks and did my Cave Diver course and couple of fun cave dives with them. It was definitely a trip of a lifetime!.

Everyone at Pluto is just so accommodating, Barbara answered all my questions and help me with all the details prior my arrival. Alberto is a very demanding instructor, he explains and explains until you really understand but I still messed up some parts while underwater but in the end I got it after all the hard work and his guidance!. He’ll make sure your daily dive plan is well organised, I was totally in good hands.

Even after the course, I learnt something new too, how to do cave diving photography safely. You’ll always learn something with Alberto!

It’s a small shop with big heart and personality, they’ve been helping with the strays around Playa. In fact the owner of the shop is a cat named Jaguar!, He will make sure Barbara and Alberto get all the work done

I’m going to miss everyone there, I will definitely come back one day for more diving with them. Please don’t miss out on diving with them if you’re in Playa del Carmen.
