Very glad I arranged a refresher course after not diving for 10 years. Jeremy was a “rock star” teacher. He was encouraging and enthusiastic. We covered so much in three sessions. My son thrived as well. We feel 100% ready to move on to our outdoor dive next month. pS.. the warm pool felt great! – via

I recently was reactivated and updated my gear at ACR. The owners were excellent about knowing my current skill level and perfectly fitting me with a new BC, wetsuit, and second stage regulator. The instruction in my pool class was top notch and focused on the skills I needed to improve the most. I decided to try scuba diving and have no experience. Sid and Susan were very helpful on my first visit, getting me signed up. They fitted me with my equipment and seemed to recommend beginner-level, fairly-priced items — they did not try to convince me to spend a lot of money. They are very welcoming and I already feel like part of their dive family after a short time. Joe, my instructor, is terrific! He has a great sense of humor and is very patient. He’s also very clear with his instruction. I highly recommend this school/shop. At first I thought the location seemed a bit crowded and unusual, but now I feel like it’s part of the charm. Feels very “local”! Love it. – via

Sid and Susan are very nice. They are also flexible with scheduling. We did our open water certificate referral with them. Things worked out very well before our planned trip. Highly recommend this if you want to try scuba at Rochester! – via

Sid and Susan were great instructors they have a clear passion for what they do and safety was their most important and stressed procedures! They really made my diving career a pleasure. I have bought all my equipment from them and they gave me great deals and even went out of their way to custom order me things. Highly recommend this place to start diving or try it for the first time like I did for vacation and school. – via

Great instructor and flexible scheduling. My wife is going for her certification and I was going for a refresher, couldn’t be happier. It was a great experience and the instructor was very patient and knowledgeable. Vey helpful staff. They waited on us hand over foot for 30-45 minutes while trying on different items in the store. They were patient and kind when it came to our newbie questions. – via

I liked this place. Owner Sid is a good guy, knows diving well. Set me up with a refresher course (basically a re-certification) before my trip to Hawaii.

Our open water dive was at South End of Canandaigua Lake. He gave me a very patient and calm dive buddy who also taught Scuba. Overall great experience.

Clarity of my dive in Hawaii, compared with New York’s finger lakes, was like stepping up to High Definition Television !! I want to do some mid-summer dives again with Pisces Dive Shop — Brent is a fantastic instructor, and I recommend. – via
