En vacances à Playa Del Carmen, notre fille souhaitait faire de la plongée mais nous n’avions rien réservé. Le guide du routard 2024 nous a conseillé Phocea Mexico, un groupe de jeunes francophones qui nous ont accueillis gentillement mais hélas ils avaient des réservations sur toute la semaine. J’ai demandé conseil et ils nous ont orientés vers Phantom Divers. Caché dans une petite rue adjacente, nous avons été accueillis simplement avec plusieurs choix de plongée ( baptême, certification…). Il était 10h. Notre fille a été prise en charge par Ramon à 12h!!!! Ils étaient deux clients avec ma fille. Un vrai cours particulier
Nous l’avons récupérée ravie à 16h, des étoiles plein les yeux. En 4h, elle a fait une plongée piscine pour les bases puis est partie en bateau sur la barrière de corail où elle a pu plonger et observer poissons multicolores, tortue et même une murène! Je recommande vivement. De vrais professionnels. Une vraie gentillesse et un staff topissime. Nous avons également pris les photos et vidéos proposées et on a divisé les frais avec la deuxième plongeuse, une chilienne adorable, car envoyées par lien sur boîte mail.
Un super moment. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. En plus ce sont des locaux donc bien. – via

Great dive shop dive Masters are all very friendly and personable. The dive operation is quite professional and surprisingly they did not hide the cenote entrance fees and are all included in the quoted price for the cenote dives. Shops that look less expensive do not account for the extra cost for your entry tickets. – via

The cenote dive was nice and worth it but the reef dive was a let down, we went to a boring reef, not to mention we lost someone and the dive master didn’t realise it till the end.
The worst part is the equipment is in such a sorry state that it is almost dangerous, leaking tanks, broken regulators, CBDs missing velcro parts. – via

El lugar es muy copado, se nota que tiene muy buena vibra. Lamentablemente con Kari que fue nuestra instructora no logramos machear con ello ya que:
– Fueron inmersiones muy cortas
– Poca paciencia. Cuando tuve un problema con el ajuste de mis antiparras me dijo groseramente que yo era open water que debía haberlo controlado (hicimos un refresh justamente porque hace 6 años no buceaba)
La verdad, al lugar le ponemos dos estrellas porque estoy seguro que con otro instructor hubiese sido otra experiencia. – via

Scuba Libre is an amazing shop to dive with. I went on the Sunday morning 8-12 2 tank dives. Alonzo is an amazing Dive Master and Instructor. We had a team of mostly inexperienced divers. Alonzo brought us together as a team. He showed us lots of interesting and beautiful sea creatures. We discovered a large barracuda lurking in a coral cave. I highly recommend Scuba Libre for open water dives! MuchoGracious to all the divers, our boat Captain, and also our underwater photographer!

Did 10 dives with these guys last year in September. Treated me like a life long friend. They go out of there way to maximize dive time and put you on great dive spots (deep or shallow). I dove with student divers one day and still had a blast (highly recommend for open water diver cert). The wreck dive was a little more structured do to 16 divers they had to keep track of. Most days it was small group of 4 or less. Will be diving with them every year from here on out. – via
