We were a group of 14 for a 2 day tour. They accompanied us with great kindness and patience, they gave us advice on the climb at all times, without forgetting the knowledge they have about the fauna and flora! We slept on a farm with some very friendly hosts and the next day we climbed up to 4,200 meters. Without forgetting the surprise picnic that our guides prepared for us on the way back! We recommend that you ask them about your future trek.

I had an amazing trek with Paramo Trek !
3 days trek from Salento to Manizales, with Andres as guide : the best guide ever. Friendly, smiling, supporting, patient, competent. He speaks very good english and explained us a lot about the mountain, the fauna, the flora…
The trek in itself was quite challenging (a lot of going up, you need to be a bit sporty, used to effort) but the landscapes were amazing, every day different. We were lucky with perfect weather, no rain, no mud.

Regarding the organization it was quite well organized thanks to the boss of the company (food, staying in farms etc).

The only thing I have to mention is that you need to be careful when you book online or through whatsapp : even when you confirm and they confirm too, your place is not safe until you made it to payment. I confirmed I would take part 2 days before departure, they confirmed to me it was all good and that they would send me the payment link, which I waited for. The next morning, they sent me a text saying the tour was full and I was out. 2 persons had come to the agency the previous day to book the tour, paid at the agency, and the agency waited until the next morning to tell me. I only got in because someone cancelled last minute.
So be careful about this ! Otherwise I recommend Paramo Trek very much for your treks ! – via

Our guide Cristian was fantastic and very helpful. He was a wealth of information. He took his time explaining some of the history of the area including all about the flora and fauna of Colombia. We thoroughly enjoyed our day hike through the Cocora Valley. – via
