For my 60th birthday, On Aug 30, 2020, I along with my youngest son celebrated it by going skydiving at The Parachute School of Toronto. My wife also accompanied us to watch us skydive. Once we arrived we filled out the required forms of which there are many and waited our turn. I was introduced to Angus and my son’s tandem partner was Juan. We got into our suits following their instruction. Once up in the air we climbed up 9,500 feet. The small Cessna ride up was bumpy and noisy. Angus was always talking both trying to relax me and giving instructions.
Our turn came and we fell forward from the plane and into the wind and free fell for about 30-35 seconds before the parachute opened. I must admit free falling is scary and exhilarating at the same time. Once the parachute opened you float and have fantastic 360 degree view. Angus give me instructions to direct us down to the ground with a beautiful soft landing and my son floated down about a minute later. We both had a great time. Ernesto, another experienced sky diver calmed my wife telling her that everything would be ok which of course it was. I must commend all the staff, Adam, Angus, Juan and Ernesto for a great jumping experience. I especially appreciated Angus always talking, giving instructions and his reassurance manner. It made the experience very enjoyable. 5 stars all the way – via
