Parachute Club of Utti – DZ Utti is a skydive center in Finland and a member of the United States Parachute Association (USPA).

Parachute Club of Utti (ULK) was founded in 1963. By the number of members and activity ULK is today the second biggest skydiving club in Finland. Club members together with visiting skydivers make a total of 5000 – 8000 skydives per year. This includes trainingjumps of 200 – 250 SL/AFF- and 100+ tandemstudents. During recent years the Parachute Club of Utti has arranged several skydiving events. These include hosting several times Finnish Parachuting Nationals as well as Utti-Boogies 1994, 1995, 1999 and 2003. Aircrafts used in these events have been Fokker F-27, DC-3, AN-26, AN-28, Let-410, Twin Otter and Mi-8-helicopters. DZ-Utti has been hosting also speedskydiving world-cup competitions in 2007-2010.

Unfortunately, the work of the office needs improvement. After spending 300 km and 3 hours on the road, it turned out at the dropzone that I didn’t have a reservation and the course would not be held. Booked over two weeks ago, and the week before the course, the office was on answering machine. another gentleman found himself in the same situation. It was not possible to clarify anything, the office is open from Monday to Friday, and there is no drop zone on weekends and there is no connection between them, according to a representative of the club. Apologies do not compensate for wasted time and spoiled mood. – via
