We were the first guests after corona and stayed for a week and everything went great and smoothly! Loved it and will definitely come back. Love the way of the Eco style there. Staff was amazing, we had a great boat crew, dive crew and every other staff was also so kind, friendly and lovely. And the food was sooo good, what a great chef and kitchen team. The Management team there is very cool and helped a lot.
The place itself and the nature around (incl. underwater nature) is stunning. I have never seen a more beautiful place on this planed.
The transfer was great too. Pick up was on time and very helpful. – via

It is almost everything described in the positive reviews. However there is a hidden side to it’s veneered facade.
It is operated by Dutch owners who have regrettably imported and imposed their European sense of private property/ownership in an otherwise pristine and boundless nature. They ostracized others, including locals who are not welcomed to walk by. They have erected fences around the perimeter, posted no entry signs and behave as entitled colonialists, at times mocking or belittling autochtones and their neighboring businesses.
Having experienced both the local homestay and this luxurious but somehow hypocritical Eco Resort , there is no doubt the former provides a more authentic, memorable and respectful sense of Kri.
Maybe the Covid-19 pandemic will have given the owners an opportunity to do some soul-searching and corrective measures towards a renewed ethos ….. – via

(Translated by Google) Although we stayed at the Sorido Bay Resort, we went kayaking to the Kri Resort almost every evening, as this is where the most beautiful sunset can be seen. Very chill!

Haben zwar im Sorido Bay Resort gewohnt, sind aber fast jeden Abend ins Kri Resort mit dem Kayak gefahren, da hier der schönste Sonnenuntergang zu sehen ist. Sehr chillig! – via
