Very nicely landscaped lodges and rental units. The lodges have underground garages. The ski hill has enough runs for 3 full days of skiing. Free mountain ski guides both morning and afternoon. The village is small with just a few restaurants. – via

Our local hill. Fun place to get some laps in, usually pretty quiet mid-week. When they get snow, it’s a lot of fun. However, when they aren’t getting dumped on, it’s not so good. Could use some updates in their infrastructure. It’s maybe priced a little high, but overall, a gem of a hill. – via

The mountain has a great variety of terrain for downhill skiing including some of the most challenging runs in the Tayton Bowl. And midweek it is rarely busy. I have been skiing here for 16 years and hope to have another 16. – via

Less snow, less people. Feels more like a local (big)mountain than a destination resort. No lines midweek, relatively empty runs, good for avoiding crowds.

The snow can be patchy in some rare spots. Watch out for small tiny chunks of broken away rock even on groomers that can ruin your base. First time I had to get a base patch without going off piste in the middle of the winter.

There is a small general store that also sells adult beverages in the base area.

Not too many food options on the hill but there is a free shuttle to downtown. – via
