Did my sidemount course at Orpheus Dive in Tulamben, Bali. Amazing experience. It’s more than just learning how to dive with two tanks. Instructor improved on my trim, finning techniques, confidence in the water which can be used even if I go diving with my single tank. The course included exploring the US Liberty wreck and gave me the chance to experience a few swim throughs of the sunken ship.

Apart from that, I managed to catch sight of barracuda, turtle, flounder, octopus and other beautiful marine life at the dive site.

Accommodations at Puri Madha is very comfortable, with different food choices nearby ranging from Western, Chinese and local Indonesian.

The staff at both dive centre and resort are very friendly and helpful to round up the trip’s excellent experience!

I can’t speak highly enough of the exceptional service we received from Coral, Tina, and Ivy at Orpheus Dive shop during my son’s diving training. From the moment we walked in, their friendly and knowledgeable staff made us feel welcome and at ease. What truly stood out was their patience and dedication during my son’s training sessions. Despite his initial apprehension, Coral took the time to patiently guide him through each step of the process, ensuring he felt confident and comfortable underwater. We did the PADI Open Water certification in Bali. We previously swore we would never do scuba diving because it’s too scary, but we are now planning our next dive trip!

Our instructor Coral was very patient, clear and calm. We put our complete trust in her, which is a big thing when you’re deep underwater practicing skills like taking your mask off completely.

In two days we progressed from having never scuba dived, to swimming through a shipwreck. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to get back underwater!

Very thankful to have gone through the PADI open water diver certification with Orpheus dive school! The instructors and everyone are all super nice and kind. I was honestly not very enthusiastic about learning to dive and was very nervous and anxious, any water in my mask freaked me out… but our instructor Matt was very patient, reassuring and thorough. I felt like I was in safe hands and we learnt a lot! By the end of the course I was much happier about the whole affair and a lot more comfortable. Very glad I went through with it in the end and it made all the difference that the instructor was supportive and everyone was really friendly. Thank you!!! – via google

Who knew becoming an Open Water Diver could be like you’re on a vacation instead of being in a course 😮

Learning how to be a scuba diver has always been a dream of mine, and I am glad that I picked Orpheus Dive to be the one to fulfil it. Huge thank you to our dive instructor Coral for being so patient with us, answering any questions and worries we had about diving, along with being so caring towards us throughout the course. One thing I really liked about Coral’s teaching style was that she would ensure that we are comfortable enough to be independent, testing our skills on what was taught to us, ensuring that we takeaway some knowledge during and after the course. Overall, a phenomenal instructor, any student under her wing should consider themselves lucky.

Once again thank you to Orpheus Dive for making this course so fun and rewarding. Definitely looking forward to doing the Advanced Open Water Course with them in the future – via google

Fantastic experience in this dive shop. I came looking for a new mask and a mouthpiece that could help me not feel like I was chewing on for dear life every time I dive Coral and team have been supportive, super helpful and patient right from the get go, not to mention very knowledgeable and professional. I also went for the refresher course with Orpheus and Coral was superb. I have not been diving for some time so even the refresher was making me nervous at the start. Coral was super patient, demoed everything and answered my million questions. Could not have asked for a better instructor – so grateful to her and the team. Loved the experience! An amazing learning experience!

After a bad discovery dive in Thailand putting me off for many years, I decided it was time to try again! I searched through a lot of schools in Singapore, read many reviews, and all signs pointed to Orpheus Dive school as the place to go.

And boy was this the best decision ever! They have been super knowledgeable supportive and most importantly patient and thoughtful in my journey. I did the one on one training and Matt was my instructor. He made sure in the pool session I was comfortable on all the skills. This was so important for the actual dives and on the first day when I was nervous Matt helped me through the whole process maintaining eye contact and reminding me to breathe slowly and calmly. After the first dive my confidence grew and by day 2 I was sold- diving was for me!

Thank you for the special care and support to the full team. You’ll be seeing a lot of me for sure as I do further training. – via google
