We spent 5 days diving with orca candidasa. From the beginning it was very professional, the staff was kind and helpful, there’s free water and coffee available and they have a variety of books available about the fish and coral.
They offer day trips to manta point (amazing, do it!) but it might take some days since there is a minimum amount of divers required for the trip. Usually orca collaborates with other bases so we only had to wait 2 days.
The house reef is good (chance of Mola Mola, wobbegong, white tips) but the current might be strong. You typically start the dives already with your wetsuits on and drive to the divesite with a little boat. There will be drinks provided for free. They also offer dives further away where you drive there by bus and board a boat at the destination.
You should definitely ask for a night dive! We had an amazing dive in Padang Bai.
To summarize we had an amazing time with orca and would totally recommend it. The friendliness and kindness of the staff make you feel welcome and the professional routines make you feel comfortable and safe. – via

Es war eine außergewöhnliche Erfahrung, meine Tauchabenteuer mit Orca zu erleben, und ich kann ehrlich sagen, dass es eine ausgezeichnete Wahl war. Der Service hier ist wirklich zuvorkommend und die Mitarbeiter sind außergewöhnlich professionell.
Das Equipment wurde jedes Mal von den engagierten Mitarbeitern sorgfältig zusammengebaut und nach den Tauchgängen gründlich gereinigt und aufgeräumt. Das hat mich wirklich beeindruckt.
Was diese Tauchbasis wirklich auszeichnet, ist die Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter. Sie tun alles, um sicherzustellen, dass sich die Gäste wohl fühlen und eine großartige Zeit haben. Das angenehme Klima und die herzliche Atmosphäre tragen dazu bei, dass man sich wie in einer Taucherfamilie fühlt.
Ich schätzte es besonders, dass auf unsere Wünsche hinsichtlich der Tauchspots immer eingegangen wurde. Der Tauchbasenleiter stand immer zur Verfügung, um wertvolle Empfehlungen zu geben und sicherzustellen, dass alle ihre Taucherlebnisse in vollen Zügen genießen konnten. Seine Deutschkenntnisse erleichterten die Kommunikation erheblich und trugen dazu bei, dass ich mich immer verstanden fühlte.
Jeder Tag begann mit einem Lächeln, wenn ich morgens in der Basis ankam, und das machte den Start in den Tag immer besonders angenehm.

We had great diving experience with ORCA Dive Club Bali. We were there for the advanced adventure diving course. Our instructor, Greg was super nice and professional, we had a lot of fun just by finishing all the mandantory lessons. Beides, we also went to other points like Manta Point, SD Point, Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong with Titto and other members of the Team. We saw sharks, mantas and many other lovely creatures. Small dive center attached to Puri Bagus Resort. We had 3 great diving days here. The manager Bram was very friendly and accommodating and we felt well received from the beginning.
The dive sites are varied and can be reached by boat in a few minutes. Especially the dive site Gili Tepekong, where among other things young whitetip reef sharks can be observed, we liked exceptionally well!
There are also day trips to the famous dive sites in Bali (Tulamben, Manta Point, etc.).
The dive guides and the guys from the dive center were very dedicated and took excellent care of the equipment

Amazing club! The manager Bram is super nice, speak a crazy number of languages (French, Dutch, German, English). They do everything to make you feel great, super arranging (picking us up from the hotel, managing restaurant in between dives).
The quality of the dives is amazing, like the wreck and Manta point, which was a magical moment (we saw plenty of beautiful mantas)!
The crew is perfect too, they set up everything, the tanks, the equipment, so you only focus on enjoying the moment. Thanks to Gusti our guide who was super helpful and kind, and the other Gusti who drove us around.
It’s a must do!
