From the recipshinest onward. Especially our dive guide, Hamo Donkol, who was very calm, relaxing, patient, and informative.

Desto mehr Rezensionen ich lese, umso öfter habe ich das Gefühl, die meisten anderen Besucher/Gäste waren nie wirklich vor Ort…..
Die Tauchschule ist groß, hat genügend Staff und Equipment, ABER:
-Preise sind recht hoch, Zuschläge sind divers
-Relativ administrativ aufgestellt
-Die Guides waren zum Teil lustlos und schlimmer, haben sich nicht wie Dive Master verhalten, es gab meines Erachtens beim Tauchen mehrere Situationen, die kritisch waren und von den Guides ignoriert wurden
-Die Tauchschule hat Dimensionen einer Massenabfertigung angenommen
Und wie so oft in Ägypten, viele Spots sind total überlaufen. Nicht Schuld von Orca, aber trotzdem nicht wahnsinnig toll – via google

Wir waren komplett begeistert.
Wir hatten im Februar/ März 8 Tauchtage mit 16 Tauchgängen und fühlten uns super betreut.
Wir haben unseren OWD gemacht und spontan dann noch die
Specilities Deep und Nitrox.
Aufgrund des dort gemachten OWD kamen sie uns zum Schluss nochmal preislich super entgegen.
Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit und waren mit Ahmed viel tauchen. Mit Mimo haben wir auf englisch die ganze Theorie für die Kurse gemacht und waren auch viel mit ihm tauchen.
Ein Dank geht an Rashidi, der sich super um uns kümmerte. Auch Thomas und Martina standen regelmäßig zum Gespräch zur Seite.
Zwischen den Tauchgängen haben wir viel Zeit mit den Tauchlehrern verbracht. Alle waren immer gut gelaunt und haben stets Feedback gegeben, sodass wir uns von Tag zu Tag verbessern konnten.
Das Essen auf dem Boot war immer hervorragend.
Abends sind wir mit Mimo, Ahmed und Rashidi auch gerne noch ins Café gegangen. Da sieht man gut, wie herzlich alle waren. Es ist halt nicht nur ihr Beruf, sondern sie machen das wirklich super gerne und verbringen auch gerne Zeit mit ihren Gästen außerhalb der Arbeit.

I have been on the boat “Amira Star” 8 times and the crew was also very friendly & helpful. Conclusion: I had a lot of fun above and below water, and I was very happy about the surprise (Orca T-shirt, certificate & cake) after my 800th dive. Many thanks to Rashidy, Martina, Achmed, Mimo and everyone else 😉

Ich war vom 18.09 – 02.10.2022 das 1. Mal im Orca Village samt der dazugehörigen Orca Dive Club Tauchbasis. Von der An- bis zur Abmeldung habe ich mich dort jede Sekunde sehr wohlgefühlt. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich & hilfsbereit und alles ist sehr gut organisiert. Ich war 8x auf dem Boot “Amira Star”, und die Besatzung war ebenso sehr freundlich & hilfsbereit. Fazit: Ich hatte über und unter Wasser eine Menge Spaß, und ich habe mich sehr über die Überraschung (Orca T-Shirt, Urkunde & Kuchen) nach meinem 800. TG gefreut.
