We really enjoyed diving with One Ocean – the staff is super friendly! We booked 5 days with them – just make sure to bring good sunprotection (cap/ lycra shirts) as some od the boats don‘t have a lot of space in the shadow. And also bring along waterproof shoes as you have to walk to the small boat that brings you to the bigger boats. Diving is always in small groups and underwaterworld is beautiful – a special thanks to Cheti, our divemaster! He made our diving experience unforgettable and was also always up for a good laugh ?? The crew (boat and dive masters) are super experiencend and we always felt very safe! Thanks to the whole team!! We are happy to come back!?? – via

We had a wonderful experience during our 8 dives with the dive centre. The equipment was in very good condition, the service was great, professional and on time. Ali, our divemaster was knowledgeable, had very good communication skills and made our dives safe and fun. The dives themselves were beautiful, discovering the colorful reefs and marine life of Zanzibar. Would definitely recommend them! – via

At Mnemba atoll (absolutely idyllic setting), at the very beginning of the dive, I could not decompress one of my ears and I began to panic. Hakan immediately intervened with the second instructor. I ended up getting there thanks to them and we were able to get off. I felt safe all the way so I was able to enjoy as it should be: it was an absolutely fantastic first time. The fauna and flora are incredibly rich there! If we have the opportunity again, we will dive with them again, that’s for sure!

Je me suis sentie en sécurité tout le long et j’ai donc pu profiter comme il se devait: c’était une première fois absolument fantastique. La faune et la flore sont d’une richesse incroyable là-bas! Die Bootsfahrer schauen nicht und haben wohl sicher keinen Bootsführerschein. Unser Guide der ja eigentlich auf uns aufpassen sollte war meterweit entfernt.

Das auf der Internetseite versprochene regelmäßig gewartet und überprüfte Equipment ist absolute Frechheit. 2 von 4 Schnorcheln defekt. 1 Maske undicht. Equipment zum tauschen nicht an Board dabei.

Dazu passen auch die Toiletten im Store. Licht defekt, eine Türe der Toiletten nicht verschließbar. Ein Klositz lose auf dem Klo. Aber die Mitarbeiter selbst nutzen lieber das Meer als Toilette, die haben kein Problem damit das direkt vom Boot aus zu machen.

Nachdem wir uns über all diese Punkte beschwert haben wurden wir mit einer lächerlichen Summe entschädigt. – via

Just finished my PADI course with Aquanauts and thanks to the team (James, Paul, Dan, Sandra and Kam) really enjoyed the experience – they are super experienced and really calming. I was dreading Open water at Wraysbury but in the end all went well and I needn’t have worried. Lake was warm (~22C) – albeit a “bit” murky”, but you get to see some fish and mussels.
