The rooms and the location of the hotel are quite good. The staff of the reception is friendly. However, the restaurant is a real disaster !!! First you have to wait 45 minutes to get attention because they’re talking with each other. Once you ordered you have to wait 1 hour to get a disgusting cold plate ! During the breakfast, they even served us old bread with a spoon of scrambled eggs. Everything we tried at the restaurant was not good at all. Even a simple orange juice was difficult to get ! the diving center is really great but the restaurant bar by the beach is really a desaster : low season with 3 clients table and they make us wait more than 2 hours, each dish was desapointing and far from its title, our family of 5 ate completely alone as each dish was late and not synch with the others. frozen bad pizza, questionnable “kebab “( nothing to compare at all), caesar salad ( far from classic and not great), the area is great, cosy chairs and atmosphere but come for a drink, certainly not for “food”……we are on a remote island, yes, but still…1 star only then… 🙁 – via

I stayed 10 nights there.
The place itself deserves more than just two but reasons why I gave it two stars only

– diving center changed their price and had hidden (tax fees) and weren’t helpful nor truly friendly.
– receptionist and manager were nice to us and tried to help us but it wasn’t enough. The staff were rude must of the time.
-breakfast was pretty boring and basic we had to ask to change it.
– the restaurant was expensive and wasn’t that good quality even. They use annoying loud music at breakfast you can’t even sit there.

All in all our room was clean and tidy but sometimes we needed to inform the staff to clean everything as sometimes they happen to forget cleaning the bathroom or add shampoo. – via

Worst experience ever! Worst hotel in the planet! Do no even try to think to go in, my two days there was a nightmare, hygiene is the lowest level I faced in my life, mattress and pillows were full of tick and termite, i guess never been washed since the opening of the hotel, the room had a smell of waste center,
and the worst is the arrogant staff who threaten you to leave the hotel if it doesn’t suit you since it’s high season, and you won’t even be refunded.

The hotel for me is in the best area of the island, in the quietest part but a 10 minute walk to the other side. The movies at night are a hit and the sunsets… The weakest thing is the bathroom theme of the room… The shower and toilet theme all together… Very Malaysian but you don’t get used to it. But for the price it is the best on the island, if you want to go to newer and more luxurious places you are going to pay much more and lose some of the essence. I would return 100%

This place is recommended for those who love to be part of the PADI diving team/course.
I feel lucky enough to choose the 3D2N package.

Food (Buttered Milk Chicken with Steam Rice) and Lemon Tea
Snorkelling Trip. Thanks to these 2 instructors/person in charge for trip on 23/10/2022. You guys are superb. Feel so lucky enough to spend time snorkelling with the clown fish, turtles and sharks.
Reception and the ambiance of this place. so Balinese. Those who love quiet place can put this place in your list.

Breakfast is always the same composition. The local beach was useless for our stay because it was very dirty.

Affiliated diving school is highly recommended. Dive instructors are friendly. Equipment very good. Unfortunately no Nitrox available yet. Should come in 2023.

Preis Recht hoch aber Standard auf den Perhentians. Zimmer sind je nach Preisklasse zwischen klein und ausreichend, aber leider ziemlich dunkel und ohne Aussicht. Die Anlage wird gut gepflegt im Vergleich zu anderen Resorts auf der Insel. Nettes Personal. Essenspreise im Restaurant sind eher hoch, Qualität ist in den umliegenden Küchen besser.
Frühstück ist immer die gleiche Zusammenstellung. Strand vor Ort war zu unserem Aufenthalt nicht zu gebrauchen, da sehr schmutzig.

Angeschlossene Tauchschule ist sehr empfehlenswert. Tauchlehrer sind freundlich. Equipment sehr gut. Leider noch kein Nitrox vorhanden. Soll 2023 kommen. – via
