This is a professional outfit. The instructors had useful advice, helped beginners develop good techniques, and were encouraging. The broader administrative team communicated well providing reminders and pictures of the drop off points our group were to meet them at. Everything ran smoothly and we had a great time. If you are a beginner in relatively good shape (especially with an ability to swim) I would recommend choosing a 2 hour session. With the warm up, on land instruction, safety talk, and initial paddle out, you won’t have a ton of time to actually catch the waves in the 1 hour timeslot if the waves are coming in intermittently. – via

Awesome customer service from start to finish. They have a good team of legit surfers who enjoy showing people how to surf.

I was lucky enough to be working with cole who was super patient and gave encouraging feedback throughout the whole experience.

I was afraid to try surfing since it was my first time but you definitely have NOTHING to fear if you are booking with Ohana. They take all the difficulty out of the experience for you. – via

I cannot begin to say how amazing the whole crew was!! The shuttle was flawless, the staff was patient, they were thorough with safety and all around awesome! We bought the picture package and we’re very pleased with the quality. If you’re looking for a great time and instructors who are going to get you riding the waves, definitely give this crew a call.
