We have traveled extensively, but this was a whole new experience. Kendra and Jim were amazing hosts. We had comfy accommodations and delicious meals, and the staff were wonderful. There were only 10 guests and almost as many staff members. Our snorkel guide pointed out so many fascinating species of fish and coral. We saw sharks and rays and healthy coral. We have told all of our friends about Off the Wall. – via

This was our second time coming here. We love Off The Wall! The diving is excellent and you’re treated like family. The food and cabanas are wonderful. Everyone of the staff members is warm and accommodating too. If you want to escape the daily hustle, unplug and unwind, OTW is the place to be. I can’t wait until our next trip! – via

Jim, Kendra and the staff were amazing to our entire family. We stayed at the family house giving everyone a little privacy, a great view of the ocean and plenty of room for our family of five. The food was freshly prepared with lots of variety, and delicious desserts nightly!

We earned our scuba open water certification with Audrey, and she was amazing with all the kids and even us slow to learn adults. Tyrone and Tony were great on the boat, taking us on numerous snorkeling trips and helping point out the bone fish to me. Don’t miss the night snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, and walks around the island.

If you have a family that loves the ocean, or you are looking to get away off the grid with your significant other this is a bucket list destination for sure! – via

Jim and Kendra have built something really beautiful here. The cabanas are charming and comfortable with an amazing ocean view. The food was fresh, tasty and local.

I earned my scuba certification at OTW and my instructor, Audrey, could not have been better. After leaving OTW and heading to san pedro to practice my new skills, my regulator failed on my very first dive! While not ideal, I felt completely able to handle the situation due to the care and training I received during my stat at Off the Wall.

I did have to pay a $500 penalty for traveling solo. This seems common to Belize so best suited to couples and groups. – via

Everything is lovingly designed down to the smallest detail, the food can’t be beat and the staff is just great, like family. The island and its location in the reef is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in the world, away from mass tourism. Alles ist liebevoll bis ins kleinste Detail gestaltet, das Essen ist nicht zu übertreffen und das Personal ist einfach nur toll, wie eine Familie. Die Insel und deren Lage im Riff ist zweifellos einer der schönsten Orte dieser Welt, abseits vom Massentourismus. Home for a little more than a month now and Off The Wall Dive Resort barely seems real. It’s a mix of comfort and rustic set in an almost perfect tropical island setting. The owners Kendra and Jim truly care that you have a great experience. The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to assist and make us feel welcome. Thanks so much Tony, Monster, Leti, Mario, Audrey and Therese for taking such good care of us. The diving? You’ll just have to go and experience it. Truly amazing. I dove twice as many times as I’d planned for fear of missing something spectacular. I’m just not sure how you’d make this place any better. I hope to get back soon. – via

Visiting Off the Wall was an amazing intimate experience with nature. We were surrounded by the intense blue hues of the Caribbean Sea, millions of blazing stars, incredible daily sunrises and sunsets, multitudes of encounters with undersea life, and our own super sweet cabana with veranda and view. It felt like we had found something unheard of these days-a week on a secret, private Island (no town, no roads, no cars, no crowds) that was all ours to relish and explore!
I’ll be back for sure! Maybe 2 weeks next time;)
