Our family went for the snorkel experience and it’s been the highlight of our trip. The reef was teeming with a spectacular variety of coral fish. The coastline is tropical heaven so every minute on the boat has spectacular views and photo opportunities. The guides were fantastically friendly and hospitable and were able to answer our questions about coral and species. Very fairly priced. Wear lots of sunscreen. – via google

Returning from a remarkable half day reef snorkeling trip with Ocean Ventures (Suvasuva, Vanua Levu, Fiji). There were several things that made this trip spectacular. First, Ocean Ventures was very responsive with pre-trip communication. Meeting our group at the port, transportation to the day boat and the trip to the reef gave us a real sense of this beautiful place long before entering the water. We enjoyed two reef stops spending an unhurried hour on each. The quality of the reefs in this isolated and pristine bay is outstanding with a beautiful array of coral, fish, clams and more all in abundance. The visibility was excellent from the deep blue water outside the reef to the spectacular long coral canyons in the warm shallows. What made this trip especially memorable were the owners of Ocean Ventures who have a deep research based knowledge of the reef environment and a passion for sharing this unique ecosystem. Book this recommended trip in advance. – via google

Mathew and Sara were an outstanding find for our diving in the Savusavu area of Fiji. They are the only operators in Natewa bay. The bay is huge, untouched reefs that offer amazing diversity of creatures. The colors are brilliant. Sara took her camera and gave us amazing memories that I could not have captured. These guys are our best diving experience in Fiji. We have done the resorts and enjoyed all our dives but the personalization and knowledge Sara and Mathew bring is unmatched. We can’t say enough good things about our experience with Ocean Ventures Fiji. We are experienced, long-time divers and the main criteria we look for in a dive operator is respect for marine life and the ocean environment. Matthew and Sara (Ocean Ventures’ owners) both have a background in marine conservation, and it shows. They treat the reef and other animal life with the utmost respect. They go a step further by working with local villages on marine conservation and restoration initiatives.

This was our first visit to Fiji and we were blown away by the coral in Natewa Bay. It was incredibly lush and gorgeous. Sara and Matthew maintain a professional operation with a good quality and comfortable boat, and small-group outings. We enjoyed diving with Ocean Ventures and would definitely jump at the chance to go diving with them again. – via google

We had an amazing trip with Ocean Ventures, they arranged transport to the departure point. The location was about a 30 min drive from the resort. The boat is modern, safe and comfortable for all ages and abilities. The service from Matt and Sara was excellent and they are great hosts, they care deeply about the environment and providing a positive experience for their guests. We saw some great coral reefs, and Matt was an excellent guide in the water explaining the reef and the ecosystem. I recommend booking directly with Ocean Ventures as they are very good to deal with and communication is very prompt for any queries and questions you have about what to bring with you and/or what to expect on the tour. – via google
