Truly an incredible and unforgettable experience! Josip and Les are absolutely amazing professionals. I’m glad to have them as my instructors. They were patient, helpful and supportive throughout the entire course. Definitely a lot to process everything within 3 days, but it all makes sense by the end of it when we apply the skills and knowledge out in the open waters. They’ve opened a new world for me to discover and I’m excited to get back in soon! – via

An absolutely great diving school in Koh Tao!
I got so lucky to be advised to contact them to do my open water course !
Super friendly team, very experienced and fun instructors (a massive and special thanks to Chris who is probably the best instructor you could find on the island!)
The open water was so great I did the advanced training right after (you get to learn some more skills and to do a night and a wreck dive; best experience ever)

Their office is based on the southern part of the island, which is probably more quiet than Sairee (loved it) and they organise all transportation to the pier / the boat

TLDR: best experience ever ??

I recently took my open water, and loved it so much I continued onto my advanced open water and fun dives with Ocean Sound.

It was an absolute riot and I cannot rave enough about both of my instructors Josip (open water & fundive) & David (advanced open water)!

Both David & Josip are very passionate and enthusiastic about diving which comes through in their teaching and supportive environment of new divers!

Any time I began to feel overwhelmed or nervous underwater they both were able to put me at ease. I feel confident in the skills I learned throughout both courses and am excited to continue advancing and improving my diving.

I am already trying to plan when I can come back to Koh Tao so I can dive with these amazing people again

I can’t recommend this diving school enough! Everyone was incredibly professional, dedicated and friendly.
The owner (Jesper) makes you feel very welcome, knows your name immediately and makes the whole process super smooth.
Our instructor Chris was an excellent teacher; everything was explained so clearly and thoroughly so we never felt unsafe. Also he’s just an all round lovely guy so made the experience all the more enjoyable.
One of the things that sets this place apart from other diving schools is that they don’t cut any corners and everything is done to a high standard. All the equipment is as it should be and they’re always making sure you are safe.
Overall, I had so much fun completing my open water qualification and it was a very fair price so I’m very pleased that I chose Ocean Sound 🙂

(My only warning/complaint would be that the diving pool you go to on the first day will turn your hair green because there’s clearly too much copper in the pool.. so they could do with a metal filter or to use a non-copper based algaecide.) – via

There are a lot of different options for diving in Koh Tao but I couldn’t be happier to have chosen Ocean Sound Dive. Me and my girlfriend did the PADI Open Water course and everything was 5 stars. Well organised, good equipment and nice diving spots. Our instructors, Sam and Emilio, were both amazing and did an amazing job in making us feel secure and having an amazing time! Definitely recommend this place if you want to learn or improve your diving skills. – via

My partner and I had an amazing experience doing our PADI open water certification with Ocean Sound, from the initial booking process to the in-class theory and the 4 dives. Equipment was top knotch and the overall training schedule was well-balanced.

Our instructor, Chris, was very clear, professional and knew how to make us feel at ease. We felt confortable with him from day one and could feel that he was truly passionate about sharing his love for diving.

If you are thinking about getting your certification (or would like to explore Koh Tao’s underwater world during a fun dive) I would definitely recommend Ocean Sound! ?? – via

With a lot of looking around before hand we decided on booking our open water padi with chema and patta as we felt that as it was a more on a personal level coupled with their experience as instructors. Couldn’t fault chema’s teaching and knowledge of the diving spots and local area, with him there was only two of us which made the learning process a lot easier and focused. The 3 days were very enjoyable with most days finishing around 1-2pm leaving the rest of the day to explore the island further . All the equipment was good quality and quite recent adding to peace of mind . Look no further if you’re looking to go diving in Koh Tao, 100% will be back ! – via

I had an awesome experience with Ocean Sound! I loved it so much that, after getting the open water certification, I decided to join also the advanced course. Selene (Sel), my instructor, is absolutely amazing; above & beyond expectations: professional, clear, encouraging, caring and funny and she is a marine biologist too. I had a great time with Les too during my advanced course, he is absolutely amazing. Had so much fun! Everything was perfect and the team here is the big plus. I cannot imagine a better place for starting my diving experience! – via

Big YES! We did our Open Water Course with them (diving first time ever in our lives) and that was best decision we could do. The team is knowledgeable and speaks English perfectly (some of them are native speakers). Our instructor (Selene) is experienced teacher and easygoing person. She had a lot of patience and explained us everything clearly. Learning theory was fun and we passed that part effortlessly. We felt safe all the time which is important in such sport. After OWD we did Night Dive with them which was a great adventure! Thank you guys and hope to see you again! – via
