This was the last and most expensive (double the price) dive trip we did all week. End of the day it was…. okay. The dive masters were friendly which was the redemptive quality. The first dive was literally at the harbor opening and the second site was covered in snorkelers so you really didn’t need a boat for either. Check in was slow, they charge a pretty penny for rental gear, and the reefs were 1/4 to 1/2 dead. At the end we said we would dive Curacao again, but not with Ocean Adventures. – via

I just returned from a week long dive trip with Oceans Encounters. We had a group of 31 travelers, including 25 divers. The experience was a great one. OE coordinated the lodging and airport transfers for us, not just the diving. The shore diving from the resort was top notch. The on-site staff was great to work with to coordinate afternoon and night dives. For the most part, their boat staff was great to work with. We have a little challenge to begin, but as we learned more about the staff, we were able to adapt the expectation and experience. Because of our group size, we were only able to dive together on a single boat 2 of the 5 times. This was great, however, as we did not expect to be able to dive together at all. The boats were all in good shape and the facility was very easy to navigate and work with. We will do this trip again! – via

A perfect ocean experience requires both knowledge and love of the ocean, weather, terrain, equipment, and life both beneath and above the waves.

Yet Neptune’s domain can still be uncomfortable unless your guide also understands you, and me. The customer. Not only understanding, but also thinking about safety at all times.

Few can tick all these boxes. Yet the staff of Ocean Encounters met and exceeded every one. Once you’re in their hands, all you have to do is breath. Prepare yourself for turtles, sharks, shrimps, octopus, and so, so much more.

Awesome to have them right on the resort property. Great front desk to help make plans and answer questions. Good equipment for rent. Nice shore dives. Good dive masters and boat captains on boat dives. I’d definitely recommend them. – via
