Terrible service and the crew has insufficient experience. Our anchor was not secured, our boat drifted and hit several other boats. On top of it, the crew managed to entangle our anchor with the one of another boat, and into the propeller. We were stuck for hours until the company sent help. When they eventually showed up, they had no intention of bringing us back, but rather only to take care of their boat. – via

I had booked the No Name One in Oct 2020 for a celebration which I had planed in Dec 2020 for a total of 5 hours. (4pm – 9pm)
3 days before the scheduled booking date I get a call from the Captain who tells me the original boat I had booked had struck by lightening and the engine was under repairs, hence they will upgrade me to another boat “No Name Three” which is supposed to be more luxurious at no additional cost.
However I had to agree to change the original scheduled booking time of 4pm – 9pm to 5:30pm to 10:30pm due to the boat not available at 4pm.
One of my guests was not able to accommodate to the new timings due to short notice and other commitments in place, hence requested if we could cut short the rental duration from 5 hours to 4 hours now ending at 9 30pm instead of 10 30pm.
I put up the request to the captain to cut short the booking duration to which he agreed. However I asked for a refund of the additional 1 hour which I had originally booked to which he mentioned that he is giving me a free upgrade and that should cover my loss even if I end early.
I told him that the free upgrade is not my choice or request and that I was still quite happy with my original booking but due to his boat being stuck by lighting, I had no choice but to succumb to his request.
So he cancelled my booking 3 days before the scheduled date inspite of me booking 2 months in advance.
I received a full refund. YES I did. But the company only looked out for its own interest and not the client interest. Which leads to the 1 star.
If I am willing to give way a bit even though its not my fault. I would expect the company to also give way a bit and not expect everything to be done their own way. – via
