New way diving is a local dive shop with very nice and friendly staff. For certified dives it’s the best dive center if you want to be on the first boat that arrives the most famous dive sites of the area: Sail Rock, South west pinnacle and Chumpon pinnacle.

Went on a fun dive in March 2024 at Sail Rock. If you are a seasoned diver with own equipment, they bring you to the locations cheaply and offer package prices. If you are a beginner maybe look elsewhere. Equipment is old, not well maintained. We had BCD failing, 2 regulators failing, wrong fins given, mask leaking. Our dive guide Koh was great, high dedication to customer service and somehow made things work. We went through some panic moments, however. I could not determine that the failed units were marked for maintenance or any other process? Safety is paramount and needs well working, well maintained equipment, even more so when its older. – via

Randomly decided to sign up for a try dive based off a recommendation of this place and instructor from a friend. I had Axel as my instructor and had an amazing experience. I have never done a dive before and had some slight nerves about it but Axel reassured me and explained the entire process.

Everything was explained very clearly and after what felt like 5 minutes in the water and some practice scenarios, I was exploring the water and seeing some amazing wildlife.

Definitely an experience I will always remember and I’m already itching to get back in and blow some bubbles again!

Highly recommend!
Reception staff were really helping! They arranged a gopro for us in the last minute??
Our instructor Axel and Tony (Anthony) were super fun to dive with! We were comfortable thoughout the experience even without knowing swimming!
Second dive was sooo good that we didn’t wanted to stop! Amazing corals and fishes!
2900 baht for 2 dives is the best deal! – via

Eine sehr gute Tauchschule, ein Familienbetrieb, der seit ca. 25 Jahren von Einheimischen betrieben wird. Der Tauchlehrer für den Anfänger Kurs „Open Water Diver“ kommt aus Deutschland und ist sehr kompetent und geduldig. Die Tauchschule „New Way Diving“ bietet eine absolut passgenaue Ausbildung und da sie von einem hier ansässigen Familienbetrieb geführt wird, bekommt man hier das meiste für sein Geld. – via

I can’t give enough stars to this school! The instructors, owner, drivers, and boat captain are all amazing. Lovely people that made us feel extremely safe while learning to dive and going out on our first couple of fun dives.

We did the Open Water course. The school has a very good price, cheaper than most others without sacrificing on quality. Three days later, we were certified and liked it so much that we did the Advanced Adventurer on top.

Our instructor Pat is a master of buoyancy and all around a very chill person. He got us from no experience to pretty calm and safe divers in a very short time. We still have long ways to go, but he got us farther than I thought possible.

P’Pan, the owner, is lovely! And she makes a Massaman Curry that’s just aroy maak. If you have the chance, go diving in Sail Rock with them. Beautiful diving spot, and you’ll get to try her amazing food.
