I just finished doing 5 dives this weekend in Nanaimo. I came all the way from Edmonton to experience the West Coast diving scenery. I have pleasure of diving with the Dive masters Carl and Derrick. We did Tyee Cove, Madrona Wall, and Oakleaf. We had good visibility, and a good variety of fish, Nudibranchs, Octopuses and even got to see lion seal. Carl and Derrick are both very experienced and safe Divers. The knew well the dive sites. Above all I felt safe. Highly recommended !!! – via

I’ve enjoyed a friendly and great service at NDO. I came in on a Tuesday morning to enquire about guided shore dives, and they were able to arrange a guide, Carl, for the next day. Carl really took my wishes to see octopus in consideration. We dove twi sites with plenty of octopus, wolf eel and some nudibranchs and other stuff. The kicker was an octopus wrestling with a wolf eel. The eel won. – via

What great service! We are heading out to Hawaii and pulled out all our old snorkeling gear. So Tired! So today we walked in – and within 30 minutes we had been fitted for new masks, existing snorkels were refitted with better mouth pieces, advice on how to prepare the new masks. The attention to ensuring we had great fit was superb. We are off on our holiday know we are ready for that first morning with great quality gear! – via

I’ve been around the world diving and Nanaimo Dive Outfitters has the most retail inventory and the most readily available rental equipment. Friendly staff that goes above and beyond what is asked ! I couldn’t recommend a better dive shop for your cold water adventure in Canada than Nanaimo Dive Outfitters. – via
