Mountain is good according to my intermediate snowboarding son, but food is very basic and expensive. Lodge is not anything to write home about very very plain, tables and not even great chairs, would not want to spend more than a half an hour there. Ambiance is nothing to speak of inside. Outside the patio is okay, they picnic tables on a patio where you can watch the snowboarders and skiers. Sometimes the outdoor bar is open. Bring your own food you’ll be happier. Have a second patio outside of a restaurant but never tried it.

Vernon Lodge is much better and cozier but food is the same very basic and expensive. The Vernon Lodge is much bigger and even has a fire pit outside. The slopes are much more crowded with beginners. – via
