The trekking itself is amazing but for those who are inexperienced, it’s extremely tough, especially going down! The pick up and drop off Driver was very friendly and welcoming. However, our trekking guide was helpful but not really helping us for the tracking itself, especially as we are not experience hikers. Overall, the track is totally worth it! – via

Trek to Mount Agung via Pura Agung was very well organized. Drive pick me at hotel at perfect time to be on parking under vulcano at right time to start. Local guide was really local as he has shop on parking place and live near vulcano. Trek is hard and has like 3 part as you go to the top it is harder and harder. We made it with guide in 4 hour to top of rim, with lot of rest, without it he said we can do it in 3 hours. But you do not want to wait on the top for sunrise more then hour as it is very windy and cold up. This way we wait only 15 minutes for sunrise. Guide have lot of food for me, more than I can eat ??. Going down is same difficulty like going up, you only use another part of your legs. And on the parking is waiting you drive with car so you can change yor shoes and t shirt after trek before he take you back to your hotel. – via

Allereerst kan ik iedereen die van een uitdaging houdt aanbevelen om Agung te beklimmen als Sunrise Trek. We hebben een fantastische ervaring gehad, maar wat jammer was is dat onze gids totaal geen Engels sprak en gedurende de volledige tocht nagenoeg niet met ons communiceerde. Verder zit er in het pakket een “trekking pole” inbegrepen, alleen kregen wij maar 1 echte en 1 lange bamboo stok. Gegeven hoe glad de berg is en hoe hard de trekking pole nodig is om veilig terug naar beneden te komen begrijp ik niet dat dit bedrijf mensen met een bamboo stok als trekking pole de berg opstuurt waardoor je gemakkelijker uitglijdt en je bezeert op de grindpaden. Ik raad de activiteit aan, maar zou dit bedrijf vermijden en zoeken naar een bedrijf dat een Engelse gids en goede trekking materialen heeft. – via

Amazing Experience
The driver was very punctual and patient. He arrived at our hotel 20min early, and waited for us with free drinks after we descended the mountain even though we were late by over an hour. He was very accommodating and helpful, and we even hired him as a driver for the rest of our stay in Bali. He provided many recommendations for affordable but safe places to visit and eat, including a secret waterfall.
Our two guides were also very proactive and accommodating. They provided us with water and breakfast to consume along the trek, and were very willing to guide us through obstacles and act as our photographers at the summit. They also rendered immediate medical aid to my friend who fell off the trail during the hike and experienced severe muscle cramps.
Even though we were (very) amateur mountain climbers, our driver and guides made this an extremely rewarding and safe experience. The ascent and descent were certainly tough, but the views and breakfast at the summit was without a doubt worth it. – via

I had requested a hike in which I was interested via WhatsApp. The request was also read at short notice. But I have never received a response. At least a refusal should be with a professional provider in it.
PS. Since you think I’m rating the wrong company here (which would be very unpleasant for me, of course), I have once again matched the phone numbers from Google with the one from WhatsApp. Conclusion: The number is identical.
In the end, however, this confirms exactly my initial criticism. A professional service provider would admit that a request “slipped through” and I would fully understand that. Less professional complaint management then looks like simply denying having been involved in the process.
Probably the tours you lead are beautiful and are carried out super professionally. The corporate communication is not. – via
