Wir hatten die Schnorchel Tour in Cahuita gebucht.
Zu Beginn wusste niemand der Leute vor Ort das wir überhaupt Teilnehmer waren. Obwohl alles online gebucht und bezahlt war.
Leider belief sich die reine Schnorchelzeit auf 45 Minuten, anstatt wie angegeben 2 Stunden.
Unser Guide Christopher war wenig motiviert und man wurde mehr oder weniger über das Riff gescheucht.
Als wir dann am ende des Schnorchelerlebnis an einem Strand ankamen, erwartete uns der Fruit Snack. Eine ganze Ananas gab es für alle Teilnehmer.
Die anschließende Tour zu Fuß durch den Nationalpark wurde ohne Guide absolviert. Der Guide verabschiedete sich am Strand und fuhr mit dem Boot zurück. Man lief die 3 km alleine zurück.
Auch “bottled water” stand nicht zur Verfügung.
Ansich ist das Riff sehr artenreich. Man sieht jede Menge Fische, Rochen und Quallen.
Aber für 45 minuten Schnorcheln und 10 Minuten Bootsfahrt, sind 73 USD zu viel.
Obwohl es auf der Website von Monteverde Tours heisst das der Eintritt zum Nationalpark inbegriffen ist, wird man am Eingang nochmals um eine “Spende” gebeten.
