I used Monteverde Tours to meet me and a friend when we landed at the airport in San Jose and then to pick us up at our Air B&B when it was time to go home. Leading up to the trip everyone was very helpful with planning. They were very responsive to my emails. The drivers showed up on time. Meeting them at the airport was simple. The driver, Oscar was waiting with a sign with my name and he drove some very scary roads to a rural parts of Costa Rica. When it was time to go home, Geddy (I’m sorry if I spelled that wrong) was waiting for us early and got us to the airport in great time. I definitely recommend them! – via

We had a fabulous vacation in Monteverde – thanks to Yamal and his excellent planning of our vacation. We did horseback riding, Selvatura ziplining and hanging bridges and a guided bird-watching tour at Curi Cancha.

We had started working w/Yamal immediately after we had decided to visit Costa Rica (3 months ago) and he very patiently and professionally listened to our interests and planned our excursions. He provided updates before our trips and followed up after to make sure that everything went well. We had a great time and will surely be back in Costa Rica again and use Yamal’s expertise to plan all our future trips. Thanks again for making our stay and vacation very memorable. Pura Vida. – via

All in all, I felt to be in good hands and safe. Guides/Instructors were professional if a bit too fast explaining things. This first part went a bit fast for me and my 13 year old son in order to feel 100% comfortable about what we need to do with our bodies!
However, it starts on a short line and there you can practice! The guides kept on checking our gear, re-adjusting helmets, they paid attention, which was good!
My son who’s only 45 kg needed a guide to go along with him on the long line, in order to make it to the other side. He enjoyed it. We all enjoyed the whole experience! The pictures you can buy at the end are good quality and not expensive! – via
