Fantastic operation! John and his grandson (also John) are friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled dive guides. I was in FSM for work (I’m in the military), and was happy to see the shop on the way out of the airport. Laidenki is also recommended in the embassy guide. They were able to work with our schedule and get my friend and I out on a two-tank dive on very short notice. Prices were very, very reasonable! I had my own gear, but my friend didn’t. John was able to hook him up with a full package of gear for no extra charge. The reefs were beautiful with lots of life, and we had a great time! John also had plenty of tips and local knowledge. Highly recommend! – via google

Great dive-shop offering excellent service. Only one real PADI dive shop on the island! Their equipment is new and well maintained. “John” is the best PADI instructor on Pohnpei. John & crew are able to offer you huge spectrum of PADI courses. They know great dive spots, also they are flexible and able to fit dive trip according your needs. They have clean tanks with regular inspections (during my stay also NITROX was available). Official Mares dealer – you can purchase some equipment directly at dive shop. Great! Keep doing / diving! – via google

excellent shop, best prices, newest equipment. their shop is easy to find. i stayed at cliff hotel and john was able to pickup/dropoff on days i didnt have a rental car. can do easy to advanced dives with lots of imbetween. if you are a solo i would definetly recommend laidenki because alot of times there is no other people on the island to go diving with and they were the only ones who would take me out at a reasonable cost. highly recommended. – via google

My favourite place to be in Pohnpei!
I did all three of my certificates with John (Open, Advanced and Rescue) and absolutely loved every course. John emphasises safety and conservative dive practices throughout every course while ensuring you are comfortable with every skill before progressing.
I have also participated in many dives with John and the team. They really prioritise diver safety and happiness and they always take you to the best dive spots. There is usually 4-6 divers per dive and you never bump in to another dive group – a completely unique experience. You really become a part of the family with this group of divers. Couldn’t recommend a better PADI certified dive centre. – via google
