We had an amazing time! We did a private lesson for our family. Waiola was an incredible teacher. He was informative, safe, and fun!
It got pretty rainy, and by the end of our session our 6 year old son (who had a blast and was able to surf several times) was really cold. Waiola literally gave him the wetsuit off his back to keep him warm. He was so genuinely kind and it meant a lot to us.
We would definitely come back for round 2! If you go, request Waiola! – via

10/10 recommend Maui Wave Riders. We booked a family lesson at the beginning of our trip and my kids had so much fun that we ended up booking 3 more times before leaving. Our instructor Kahala was amazing with our kids (7, 9 and 10). Definitely get the pictures because having them made all the world of difference. – via
