We were on a 2D1N Liveaboard and it was great. The boat is clean, the crew very friendly, the food tastier than in some restaurants and Ricky was the perfect guide. Everything was done to make sure we had a great time. Absolutely worth the money.

It was amazing. Of course the Location Komodo Nationalpark is perfect, but Azul will make your Trip even better. We stayed two days on a Liveaboard and it was fantastic. The Boat is very clean and new, the Crew was absolutly friendly and there was always a helping hand if needed, the food was absolut delicious and our Guide Ricky was the best Guide you can imagine. – via google

Elegimos sacarnos el Open Water con Azul Komodo porque podíamos hacer el curso en español. Todo ha sido perfecto! Ricky nos ha hecho todo super fácil, explicándonos todo super bien, teniendo paciencia con nosotros y sobre todo, dándonos autonomía para ir aprendiendo lo que teníamos que mejorar y haciéndonos sentir super tranquilos.
El primer día de buceo en aguas abiertas el puerto estaba cerrado por las previsiones climatológicas, pero como teníamos reservado el curso con antelación y no teníamos mucho margen, se buscaron la vida para que pudiésemos salir en speedboat.
El segundo día pudimos salir en su barco, que es una pasada, super cómodo y con una comida riquísima!
Muchas gracias Ricky y todo el equipo de Azul Komodo!! Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable! – via google

Experiencia maravillosa. Hemos hecho el open water con Ricky y todo ha sido perfecto. Ha tenido mucha paciencia con nosotros y enseña todo muy bien para conseguir ser autónomo buceando. El primer día en aguas abiertas el barco de ellos no podía salir por restricciones en el puerto y nos buscaron un speed boat para que pudiéramos completar el curso. El segundo día pudimos ir en su barco que está muy bien equipado y la comida está buenísima.
Las inmersiones son simplemente espectaculares: tortugas, tiburones, mantas…
¡No tenemos más que palabras de agradecimiento para Ricky y el equipo de Azul Komodo! – via google

Truly life changing experience! The boat, crew, food, dive sites, and dive guides were all absolutely amazing.

The crew: The crew was extremely helpful and made the experience lovely. The only sad part was the captain (not sure of his name) constantly disposed of his cigarettes in the ocean. Other than that, he was a good captain.

Dive guides: They always knew what they were doing and I felt very safe having them lead me in the INSANE currents. They were able to spot creatures that I would have completely overlooked. Safety was taken seriously. A briefing was conducted before every dive to ensure safety and general awareness.

The food: You would think for a “budget” Liveaboard that you would get okay food but you’d be wrong. The food was top-notch. Always came out fresh and was extremely filling. The presentation was also gorgeous.

Dive sites: they always knew exactly when and which dive sites to go to. We never had to call a dive or faced any treacherous conditions. If you’re a new diver, I don’t recommend Komodo since the currents are absolutely intense.

The boat: Don’t expect your room to be like something from Four Seasons. They are very spartan but are also comfortable. Plenty of room for belongings. It’s a small boat, so no long, hot hollywood showers. My one and only complaint would be that the rooms on the lower deck (below main deck) had a diesel fuel smell to them. It wasn’t too bad but it can be a turn off if you’re sensitive to that kind of thing. You can always sleep on the top level if you want to. The top level is shaded, has tons of space and plenty of soft beany bags. – via google

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!
We had our 4D3N liveaboard on the Mastro Aldo with the Komodo Dive Center crew and everything was awesome beyond our expectation! From the booking time, they were very fast in replying emails and gave us all the information we need to prepare for our trip. The boat was comfortable and the fact that our group was small (6 divers) made it feel so spacious. We stayed in the lower deck cabin, which can be quite noisy at night by the sound of the engine, but they turned it off during sleep time so no problem at all.
About the dives, every single dive spot was so unique and beautiful in its own way. Komodo’s underwater world is absolutely breathtaking with pristine corals and rich marine life. We could also see big things such as sharks, mantas and devil rays.
Our instructors were all local people who are very knowledgeable about the dive spots. They gave careful briefings before every dive, especially how to handle the current of Komodo’s water. They also made us feel safe underwater, and tried to show us interesting stuffs
All other support staffs were also very kind and attentive.
And above all, the food onboard was AMAZING! We never ate the same dish twice, and every time it was nicely presented. We didn’t expect to eat such restaurant quality food on a liveaboard boat.
Overall, this is no doubt my best dive experience, and best vacation so far. I would totally recommend the Komodo Dive Center crew to anyone who is thinking of doing a liveaboard trip in Komodo. – via google
