It’s a scam! Read other reviews didn’t think it was true but it is! Do not rent from this place its a joke their policies are ridiculous! If you get a scratch on the propeller they automatically charge you 150 for it when it’s impossible not to scratch it when the water level isn’t that high and to load everyone you have to get as close as possible to get them on the boat! It’s like they know it’s gonna happen so they take advantage and charge people this ridiculous fee! They should be more understanding with the way it works! Charging 150 for a scratch is outrageous! Per the owner we offer to buy the propeller for 200 or pay 150 for a scratch! The scratch is considered damage! Really what kind of deal is that! Yes I understand they buy the propeller for 200 but charging 150 for a scratch! We definitely will not be renting from this place again! – via

Noticing a lot of comments on props, and how the marina is scamming renters. All the boats go out with a new/undamaged prop. This means that all the props are black and you cannot see any aluminum or damage. If a boat was allowed to go out with a damaged prop then the question would be “how damaged is it”? This is why props are replaced after they have been “shined up” or damaged. Renters are asked to stay between the green and red buoy markers throughout the lake. Sometimes people decide to go to the beach with the boat or just get outside the markers and hit something. The marina has zero control over how and where renter drive the boats. – via

We are visiting from California and actually had a great time on the boat until we got back to the marina and was charged $120 for a scratched propeller. Funny thing is my husband is an ocean fisherman and knows how to drive a boat but the way they scam is professional. Also the people before us warned us about them doing this so I guess that’s just how they work taking money from people trying to enjoy their time. Beware with these people are take a picture of your propeller before you even drop it in the water. – via
