Did the deep sea fishing experience with Mariana and essentially paid 100 bucks a fisher to watch some other guy really do all the work. The taxi showed up on time and we proceeded to drive to three other resorts to sit and wait to pickup other fishers. We finally arrived to Bávaro Playa and went out to a boat that look pretty rough. We were non stop for four hours in rough seas. My son got to bait one hook and throw it into the sea. The one guide monitored all the lines and we just sat and watched while most of the other fishers got sea sick. Four fish were caught in total, you don’t get to keep them. Our taxi back to the resort was 15 mins late and was in a rush. Would not recommend for fishing. – via

Séjournant à l’Occidental hôtel, le Mariana Water Sport center se trouve sur la plage de ce dernier et propose gratuitement la location de divers services.

Le personnel est très désagréable envers les clients, on a clairement l’impression de les déranger alors qu’ils passent leur temps sur leur téléphone, avachis sur leur sièges et ne levant à peine les yeux pour vous parler.

Ayant payé une formation d’une demi-heure sur le catamaran à 50 dollar, le formateur ne parlant qu’espagnol est resté avec moi que 15 minutes en tout.

Ils sont incohérents dans leur propos, un jour ils permettent de réserver 3 jours à l’avance et le lendemain seulement un jour à l’avance. Bonne chance pour trouver un créneau.

Ne faites pas l’erreur de réserver chez eux pour faire traiter comme une vache à lait. – via

Me vendieron la excursión de buceo mostrándome fotos de una embarcación con plataforma, hermosa. Me llevaron en una lancha pequeña, incómoda y con 9 personas. Había mucho oleaje, fue difícil empezar el buceo y subir a la lancha, ya que no tenía siquiera Escalera. Nos dejaron en el medio del oleaje esperando que otra lancha traiga tanques para el segundo buceo. Todos nos mareamos, hubo buzos que vomitaron. Horrible.

We did the parasailing excursion through Mariana. We were very excited until we were picked up in a very small boat carrying about 12 other people. We were asked to transfer to a different boat. We were in the air for about 5 minutes (and others were only in the air for about 3) despite being promised 10 minutes. It felt very rushed and disorganized. – via

We did the parasailing excursion through Mariana. We were very excited until we were picked up in a very small boat carrying about 12 other people. We were asked to transfer to a different boat. We were in the air for about 5 minutes (and others were only in the air for about 3) despite being promised 10 minutes. It felt very rushed and disorganized. – via

Andrea was the best tour guide and the snorkeling/tour day he led us on was definitely a highlight of our time in Malta. He was so authentically friendly and knowledgeable. He definitely went above and beyond the whole day. He even suggested things to do after our tour was over!! And the recommendations were better than anything we found on our own! Would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to get the best experience in Malta! – via

My partner and I got the open water padi certification at the Catalonia Bávaro resort location. We highly recommend it! The course was fun and smooth. The inmersions were fantastic! Specially the one at Monica wreck. The very best part of the course, however, was our divemaster instructor, Rolando. If you go to this place, ask for him! He is a great professional that makes everything seem easy. We had a great time with him!

My partner and I got the open water padi certification at the Catalonia Bávaro resort location. We highly recommend it! The course was fun and smooth. The inmersions were fantastic! Specially the one at Monica wreck. The very best part of the course, however, was our divemaster instructor, Rolando. If you go to this place, ask for him! He is a great professional that makes everything seem easy. We had a great time with him!

We arrived at the Majestic hotel, and on the very next day went to this dive center for my wife and I to go diving. I’m a AOWD licensed PADI diver and we always go to licensed centers. When I asked for a good day to dive, the gentleman at the counter said that two days from then (next Saturday), the weather would be great. I accepted his suggestion, scheduling our experience for Saturday, early morning.

When the day arrived, and it was raining, the seam seemed very agitated. My wife was doing the Discovery program, meaning it was her first dive. She needed to take pool lessons first.

I am frustrated that they did not reschedule with us, since ALL THE FOLLOWING DAYS the skies were bright and waters were calm. They are locals, they know that the weather that day specifically was not the adequate condition for a beginner to go diving, and they also surely knew better days were coming.

Regardless, she went and did the pool lesson, and we went to the sea. They took us to a place called “shallow”, there was not too much life at all, just mostly rocks. I’ve dove in Punta Cana before, with the Pelicano Dive Center, they took us (including the beginners) to a wreck called Astron, and there was a lot of life.

On our way back, the engine on the boat died. We were waiting for about 40 min for another boat to come tow us. Then, we were already under considerable rain and wind, and I got myself a nice cold next day, since their boats are not covered.

For the prices they charge (they are more expensive than the Pelicano as per the websites), I expected a better boat and overall experience. I truly wished they had suggested us to reschedule for better weather. In the end, I kept asking for more “advanced” dives and have not received any suggestion, I even asked for a night dive, but they gave me no option. They lost the opportunity to sell me more dives! My wife was going to do the certification, but due to the overall experience, she ended up not wanting to do it. – via

We arrived at the Majestic hotel, and on the very next day went to this dive center for my wife and I to go diving. I’m a AOWD licensed PADI diver and we always go to licensed centers. Todo Impecable! Hicimos dos lindos buceos camino a isla Catalina q el bellísima. El traslado súper cómodo con AA, nos dieron las indicaciones de camino. Los equipos en perfecto estado ya estaban listos en bolsos asignados correctamente. La embarcación de primera, el servicio en la isla muy bueno.
Olvidé un efecto personal y lo recuperé al día siguiente.
Los recomiendo 100%
Si están en occidental Caribe, comprenle a Wilber! – via
