I had an absolute blast surfing with Mark at SoCal today. I have never gotten up and stayed up so many times before. Mark really built up my confidence and made me think I was starting to get pretty good at this surfing thing. He really stresses the importance of relaxing your toes, which I think really helped significantly with my popup success. You learn some from every surf lesson, but I think I learned the most from Mark on this lesson. I am ready to apply what I have learned and start surfing on my own. Hopefully I’ll have some success.
