What did I see as a Scubadiver? and within touching distance ….. Whale Sharks , Manta Ray, Spotted Eels, 20+ Reef Sharks, a baby Seahorse (first one spotted in 8yrs), Octopus, every imaginable fish and crustacean and an abundance of beautiful colourful coral.

As a single traveller, the people you meet will become friends for life !

Honestly one of the best experiences of my life and I have travelled the globe !

I loved it all! First dive in morning get up on 6.30 then breakfast , second dive at 10.30, then 3rd dive at 14.00.

The mainboat is large and wel maintained. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and abundant.
The diveboat (dhony) is also large and well maintained.

Drinks are billed extra, also is rental of dive equipment. Prices are ok. The coffee at breakfast is free of charge. – via

We’ve been on a number of scuba livaboards over the last 10 years (all over the world) and the Scuba Spa Ying has them all beat and beat by far! The boat is top tier, we had the Manta suite (very front of the boat), it was spacious, luxurious and well laid out. The food was fantastic, again the best we’ve ever had, the crew was also beyond great. The dive boat was really, really good and, well, the diving was fantastic! Whale sharks, loads of Mantas, dolphins, sharks and crystal clear, warm water! The last time I dove in such clear water with the wildlife we were with was in the Atlanta Aquarium. It’s a LONG haul to get to the Maldives but, darn, it’s SO worth it! We are so impressed by the experience that we are going to book a private charter cruise for ourselves and 20 of our family and friends. – via

Stayed a week in November 2021 on the Scuba only package and did 17 dives. Had an amazing time on ScubaSpa. All the crew was very attentive and made sure we were always happy. The dive team, especially our guides Branden and Buddy was the best! Had amazing dives with Mantas, marble rays, eagle rays, turtles and lots and lots of sharks. Rani was exceptional, thank you so much for your service! Overall had an amazing time and really appreciate Rani and the housekeeping team services. However, despite having an amazing time there were little things that annoyed us. For example the 1gb free wifi and then $100 for unlimited wifi and their 1 free coffee a day quota then the additional coffees are around $12 ($10++) and lastly 4% credit/debit card charge. I completely understand that it is business and this is done everywhere. But it just made the resort seems a bit cheap, it would have been better if all these little things were included (and increase the total price if they must) but by doing it this way we felt like the resort was trying to squeeze every bit of money they can and it’s just a bit sad plus I never came across a 4% for using debit card before. All in all, had a great time on ScubaSpa, loved the dives, crew and the resort and would definitely be back (next time we’ll buy a sim at the airport). Thank you for such an amazing week. – via
