I planned diving with the company, but stopped receiving messages 24 hours prior to the diving day. It was extremely stressful to book elsewhere at 7 PM one just hours prior to the activity. Be careful so this does not happen to you. – via

Great experience, I was properly informed about what to expect. My diving instructor was a fantastic chap who helped me and my wife with basic training and also guided us the entire day. We did three dives and enjoyed each one thoroughly.

I found Thailand Divers in Phuket, on the web, while I was looking to upgrade myself to the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification. The first thing that stood out was the promptness and quality of communication. While some other Dive Shops were inconsistent (not passing judgement on their capability, etc), Charlie from TD was great at answering questions suggesting options etc. So I went with Thailand Divers.
From start to finish, it was a well oiled operation. From the morning pickups to the boats (shared with other dive shops) and return drops. The boats themselves were good, some better than the others, but still all good. Breakfast, lunch and snacks were all good (local preparations), including my special request for vegetarian.
The equipment (BCD, octopus, regulator, first stage, etc) were all great and new. Used my own fins and prescription mask, but the ones Charlie supplied were good too.
The best or the worst part of the whole diving experience is always the dive instructor – Charlie did a great job in getting Sebastian Veyrac, a Frenchman settled in Thailand as a one on one instructor for me. Seb was fantastic from the word go. Experienced, calm and conservative (as scuba diving instructor should be). He took great pains in ensuring i learnt the skills repeating as necessary, Took care of everything from meeting me at the Pier to ensuring I was comfortable on the boat to seeing me off at the end on the pier. I had trouble equalising one ear – he ensured that we descended at a pace that i was comfortable with checking every couple of mins if i was okay. In all of that he was only too keen to ensure that I had a fun time seeing all the various animals, fish and coral.
All in a a great experience, got my certification and would definitely use and recommend Thailand Divers again. – via

It was a great Day.
The Organization was great, right Timing to Pick up at the hotel, the ship was in a great condition and the Food was also very good.
We went to three diving spots, the view and the Marina live was ok but the Sea was a bit rough and reduced the exitement a little bit.

Dave and our instructor Wit were really interested in teaching us to do Kitesurfing independent by our own at the end of the 10h lesson. This was exactly what we were looking for and we had a lot of fun. – via

In summary, I would book & dive here again, because I felt absolutely comfortable and well looked after!

Ich habe hier im Jänner 2023 meinen Nitrox Kurs gemacht und war sehr begeistert:
> Einfache, schnelle und sehr klare Kommunikation vorab (via WhatsApp über die Nummer auf der Webseite), schnelle Buchung im Büro vor Ort (Zahlung mit Kreditkarte oder bar möglich).
> Der Tauchtag selbst mit drei Tauchgängen war top organisiert – pünktliche Abholung in einem modernen Minibus, sehr gute Betreuung, sehr gutes Essen an Board (Frühstück, Mittagessen, Snack), gratis Wasser + Cola + Tee/Kaffee, super nettes Team, genug Schattenplätze am Schiff
> Einziger Wermutstropfen: Die Tauchplätze waren ziemlich voll, da sowohl diese Tauchschule als auch andere Tauchschulen vor Ort waren … ist aber wohl überall in/um Phuket so.
> Für den Tag selbst braucht man außer einem Handtuch und Trinkgeld für die Crew/den Tauchlehrer nichts mit 🙂

I had my padi advanced course here. Everything was super easy to understand and the online theory course made my life so much easier.
Both the instructors were professional and fun.
We went to really amazing dive sites on all these dives. I’ve wanted to do wreck diving as one of my specialty, but there’s only one wreck in the region and the schedule didn’t include that.
Nevertheless, we really see amazing stuff down there and I can only advise that you go and take the plunge with them. – via

I signed up for 2 dive trips with Local Dive Thailand as the first trip was amazing and my Dive Master was Pi Born who was really experienced, and I enjoyed the dive very much after 8 years of not diving!
They were very responsive on google chat which helped a lot as I manage to decide quickly.
The visibility in the waters of the dive sites in Racha Yai and Racha Noi was really clear despite my dive being in September.
3 dives, equipment included (I brought my own snorkel mask and gloves), breakfast, lunch and snacks are served on board.
Pick up was included as well although I stayed in Phuket Town.
Since I enjoyed the first dive, I decided to sign up for a 2nd dive with Local Dive Thailand and this time it was to King Cruiser Wreck and 2 other dive sites where there were lots of clown fish (Nemo) and for Shark Point we manage to spot a leopard shark as big as me! It’s a gentle shark that eats small fish, sleeps and not move much in the day.

Did OW + AOW with local dive thailand not long ago, we had an incredibly enjoyable time. We were lucky to have met Pai, who is a knowledgeable, patient and friendly instructor. My wife and I were both complete beginners to diving but really wanted to try it . The whole day event started on our boat with breakfast and we met our diving instructor Pai . He made us feel safe and relaxed about the experience to come . After onboard training we got suited up with help from the boat crew and then had our first dive which was absolutely magical . We had 3 dives in total each one was a bit deeper and they lasted about 50 mins each .
Pai took photos of us underwater which made a great souvenir if we needed one
The whole day was extremely professional and one of the best experiences we have ever had . The sea was warm and full of fish and we will remember the day always
We will definitely be repeating the diving here next time we are in Phuket

(Translated by Google) We did our Open Water Diver from Monday to Wednesday and we are thrilled. The learning effort of the theoretical part should not be underestimated. The tremendous input is definitely worth it for anyone who is curious about the unknown underwater world. (Aquariums are a thing of the past after that)
We did our course in English and despite the many technical terms, we were able to understand our instructor very well. David showed us all the basics in the pool, which we could then apply in the open sea. At no point did we feel helpless or unsafe.
We are very grateful that we were able to do our Open Water Diver and gained unforgettable insights into the underwater world. (We would prefer to be under water now)

Wir haben von Montag bis Mittwoch unseren Open Water Diver gemacht und sind begeistert. Der Lernaufwand des theoretischen Teils sollte keinesfalls unterschätzt werden. Der gewaltige Input lohnt sich auf jeden Fall für jeden, der neugierig auf die unbekannte Unterwasserwelt ist. (Aquarien sind danach Vergangenheit)
Wir haben unseren Kurs auf Englisch gemacht und trotz der vielen Fachbegriffe konnten wir unseren Instructor sehr gut verstehen. David zeigte uns im Pool alle Grundlagen, die wir dann im offenen Meer anwenden konnten. Zu keinem Zeitpunkt fühlten wir uns hilflos oder unsicher.
Wir sind sehr dankbar, dass wir unseren Open Water Diver machen konnten und unvergessliche Einblicke in die Unterwasserwelt gewonnen haben. (Am liebsten wären wir jetzt noch unter Wasser)
Wir können den Kurs nur weiterempfehlen!!!

I’ve picked up Local Dive Phuket to get my Open Water Diver and I’m glad I did it. Everything is very well organized. The food and drinks on the boat are good and more than enough, the staff is nice and well trained. The instructor assigned to me (Fabian) was well experienced and funny, a nice plus to have. Additionally, I saw sharks during my first dive, which will probably make my experience unforgettable.
