Overall a great experience and I will be coming back for more lessons and rentals! I booked a group lesson with them last week and we had to reschedule because of water conditions. Angie was really helpful and accommodating and made sure things were taken care of.
Their website booking system is also quite functional and clear to navigate, so a very stress free experience!
It’s also quite close to the pier so if you are taking the metro it’s the location with the least amount of walking.

I will add more once I have more lessons/rentals with them 😉 – via google

I was really excited for my first surfing lesson, but unfortunately, I did not have a good experience.
My surfing instructor was very friendly and he was great at giving the instructions on land. When we went out into the water, he swam 50 feet in front of me and didn’t help me navigate through the water. I was pulled under several times and he really didn’t seem to care that I was struggling in the water. It didn’t feel like I was getting a lesson, he kind of just left me to fend for myself and I did not feel safe in the water.
I was also under the impression that this was a private lesson, but he had someone else join us about half an hour into my lesson, so I didn’t feel the focus was on me.
I told him I wasn’t sure I wanted to go back out into the water because I didn’t feel safe and he said “okay” and walked away and that was the end of my lesson.

Overall, not a great experience. Be wary when you book your lessons here. – via google

Our instructor Juan was amazing! The surf company’s sign up process and communication about how to prepare and where to meet was great, but Juan really set our experience apart from other surf lessons. Myself and my 9 year old daughter found his instructions and details easy to follow and his coaching out in the waves was fantastic! On top of all that he was always looking out for my daughter’s safety and making sure she was having fun. The whole time in the water he pushed us into wave after wave and then also pulled my daughter back out into the waves after each ride, which she loved! We had a great time and are looking forward to coming back next summer for more lessons. – via google
