Skiing here is very limited. New management, Vail Resorts, is undercutting the potential of this historic area. Only three runs with snowmaking but only 1.5 open. Closed Monday opens at noon Tuesday through Thursday. Lower Wildcat, the best , steepest run in Pennsylvania took over a month to open, accessed for 2 days, then closed again. Insbrook beginner run saw no snow making till January 31 and is still not open. Disappointment is ongoing. Of course no profit will be made under this management and that appears to be their goal. – via
