Schöner kleiner Hafen mit mehreren Restaurants. Leider wird dort nicht auf die Umwelt geachtet. Viel Müll überall und auch im Hafenbecken. Benutzte Coffee to Go und leere Dosen werden einfach abgestellt und der Wind bläst sie ins Hafenbecken. Leere und volle Ölkanister stehen wochenlang rum. Das Wasser schillert vom überlaufenem Benzin. Leere Kühl Styroporkisten treiben im Wasser. Mülleimer quellen über. – via

We took a self hire boat out with Laatchi Watersports and had a brilliant day. We saw flying fish and even a turtle! We did a four hour trip and it was the perfect time to go to all the bays. The Blue Lagoon water was crystal clear and bright blue. They also provided snorkels for free. The cost was around €150 + €28 for fuel which was the cheapest option and fit up to 6 people. We went in November and there was practically no one else there! – via

We had a private charter for 3 hours and it was fantastic. Jimmy was our captain and he was knowledgeable and easy going. We stopped to snorkel and went beyond blue lagoon to equally beautiful and very secluded
Bays. Worth every Penny if you want to splash out on a treat . Great showers at the end of the trip and a fab lunch on the beach after. Perfect day. – via

Having never been on a boat, I was really quite weary about hiring one for a self drive experience. The talk through and demonstration were great at alleviating my initial worries and having control of the vessel disappeared the rest. I couldn’t recommend this experience or this company enough; it’s the most stunning area of Cyprus and I can’t imagine anyone else being able to make me so at ease on the water for the first time. Only went for the 2 hour experience for my first time but definitely will pack some snacks for at least a half day next time. If you’re considering this company or experience, just go for it! – via
