We did a 4-hr fishing charter which was a great experience. Nice well-equipped and comfortable boat. Our skipper, Miles, was a very experienced and personable guide. We came away with some very nice rainbow trout. Highly recommended. – via

Hired a jetski. Was a great hr on the lake, staff were helpful and able to direct me to find what I was looking for. If your wanting to get on the lake via Jet ski, boat, kayak then see these guys! – via

Communication while booking was excellent unfortunately this was not the same with the captain. Booked 4hours he brought us back at 3 hours. This was made right with a refund a few days later. Discussed wanting to fish, see rock carvings and swim. Unfortunately captain did not want to drive all that way to ‘see something for 1min’ – his words. And swimming never happened, not sure why but seemed captain had a plan that involved fishing only. Surprised life jackets not offered nor informed where they were for safety reasons. All in all had a good morning just only did 1/3 of what we wanted did get 7 trout tho! – via

I was very exited to relax and enjoy some fishing in taupo. Unfortunately the 2 hour trip almost instantly went sour as the “captain” was extremely rude and showed no regard for safety. I recommend having a look at the Waikato councils page on lifejackets since you are clearly in violation of both the local and central government law. This will be reported as you are putting people’s lives in danger which is telling by some other reviews.
Edit: please go on your local governments website and have a read of what the rules clearly state regarding life jackets – via
