I love and hate this place. It’s wonderful for teaching, training, and maintaining skills. It’s a safe environment where divers can dive to their certifications (to include solo and tec). I routinely head there with my rebreather and log 3 hour dives. The staff is friendly, professional, treat divers like adults, always keeping an eye towards safety. There are lots of hidden things to find when you poke around the place, with plenty of guidelines to bring you home if you’re lost. It’s no tropical paradise, but it’s good enough and at an excellent price!
The downside is that it’s a large, cold, and (at times) murky gilded cage. That being said, I’ll keep coming back as it’s close, convenient, and safe (and I have a drysuit).
There are campsites that I’ve never used, but they look nice, and the plumbed bathrooms are GREAT for taking a post-dive shower and … you know … other stuff. The dive shop is ok. Not a lot of stuff, but they carry DUI neck and wrist seals, which is great for me. – via

A great place to dive. The staff is helpful and the gas mixes keep coming. The park is clean. The bathhouse was exceptional and the showers are always hot. The dive vis was decent. The camping and camp fires were amazing.
The only issue I had… electricity with tent camping came down to the length of an extension chord. I wish there were more power outlets. – via

Great place for Open Water dives! Beautiful scenery. We took our lessons in Mid-October with 5mm or 7mm wetsuits. It was perfect and we weren’t cold at all. Also the lake wasn’t crowded like the summertime. According to our diving instructor, the visibility was about 20ft. Lots fish were swimming right in front of us. There are many interesting under water spots for you to discover.
There are many private showers/bathrooms for you to rinse off. Good water pressure and stable warm temperature. Love it! – via

Great place to dive! I love how it’s all divers, and it gets pretty crowded too. I’ve never seen so many scuba divers in one place, it’s really fun! Still plenty of space to hang out and dive. Neat stuff to find underwater, and very curious fish. Nice temperature of the lake, super warm compared to what I expected. Plenty of parking. Line is a bit long to check in, so coming early is smart. Would recommend! – via
