Did Scuba diving through Lacadives in 2022 at Havelock island. I found the Discover scuba diving course quite expensive compared to other dive providers but we took it considering their awesome reviews. The dive spot chosen i.e. Turtle beach, was not good as we couldn’t find much sea life in the corals; it was mostly barren. Also, too many divers got to the spot from other dive shops making it quite noisy and crowded. The underwater photos and videos taken were of poor quality with not a single coral/fish in the frame. So the overall experience was average and not worth the exhorbitant price. – via google

I had an amazing time doing my PADI Open Water course and a few fun dives with Lacadives in Havelock and Chidiyatapu.

The team was helpful right from when I started emailing them with requests for information.

They facilitated the 2-day pool training in Mumbai, followed by the 2-day Open Water dives in Havelock.

Pratik Shettigar was the Dive Instructor in Havelock and was extremely clear, patient and helpful while instructing me.

We were lucky to not run into crowds at Havelock while diving.

At Chidiyatapu, it was a blast doing fun dives with Havovi and team. I did fun dives, a friend did Discover Scuba and a third did snorkelling.

Chidiyatapu is relatively less travelled compared to Havelock and that showed in the quality of the reef. The size and diversity of sea life seemed to be better. While the reef wasn’t as extensive as Havelock, it seemed less damaged.

Thanks to Greetika for helping us with all the bookings and the Big Tree recommendation. Do check out Big Tree if you are travelling to Chidiytapu. Diya and her team are amazing, and so are the food and accommodation.

Would definitely want to continue my dive training with Laca. – via google

The instructors and staff at either locations were equally professional and fun. 200/10 would recommend. Shout out to the instructors Timoth and Denzil, top Gs – via google

My husband and I did our open water dives course with Lacadives, Havelock. Our instructor Denzil Fernandes was extremely patient, professional, sweet, accommodating, helpful. We felt very safe learning this new skill from him and would highly recommend that everyone use his expertise whilst diving with Lacadives. All the other team members on the boat were also very helpful during our dives. However Denzil stands out for us as being the reason we will keep diving! – via google
