Did 2 dives in the phi phi islands area. Steve and the Kon tiki team were amazing from start to finish. It was a well organized trip done by passionate divers which resulted in a super memorable experience. Highly recommend Kon Tiki to anyone looking for a great dive experience. Thanks Kon Tiki! – via

Had an absolutely fantastic dive experience with Steve and the Kontiki crew. What differentiates dive tour companies is whether they are purely for-profit or if they are passionate divers with a drive to share the under water experience. These guys are all passionate divers. Out of the water the whole crew hung out and got to know all of us on the tour. In the water they had complete control and knowledge of the dive sites we visited. Great gear, great dive sites, great company. Highly recommend Kontiki to anyone that is wanting the best diving experience in Thailand. – via

Can not say enough great things about this Company and the Staff! As a 60 year old Diver who recently got my Recertification as an Open Water Diver after 40+ years of inactivity and with 12 months on a Brand new pair of knees, I had my concerns! But let me tell you it was an Incredible Experience, they picked me and 2 of my buddies both who were also my age and olderat our hotel and within minutes we were on a long tail boat and on there super comfortable Dive extremely large boat andon our way to our Dive sites at the Phi Phi Islands. We had an International group so i didn’t expect a whole lot of attention, boy was I wrong! Our Dive Masters Steve who was also the Company’s GM and Dylan were like family after 20 minutes and Brothers by the end of the Day. The Food was delicious and Plentiful! Sticky Rice and Chicken for Breakfast and a full Buffet lunch between Dives and snacks and beverages throughout the Day. The Dive sites were Phenomenal! Abundant sea life with Beautiful Corals, giant sea clams and even a few Black-Tip sharks! Such an incredible experience that we all signed up for a Second Dive Day before we got back to shore! Highly recommend this company as you won’t be Disappointed! First Class Outfit! – via

My friend and me took a snorkelling tour here when we were in Krabi last week, in the hopes of visiting islands that were more off the regular tourist grid. We were not disappointed as the dive boat brought us to spots which were exclusive compared to the beaches of tourists we sailed past.
The dive boat was spacious and well equipped with useful amenities like sturdy roped climbing bars, toilet, etc. Fruits and isotonic drinks were also prepared for us, which was a nice touch. Loved the top deck where there are a couple of comfy sunbeds to relax in between journeys.
After a safety briefing, we were approached by Swantay? who introduced himself as our guide. I privately call him Swamp Thing (which is a misnomer as he’s a good looking Swede), because I couldn’t hear his intro above the roaring of the engines. Despite having gone on many snorkeling trips in the past, this is the first time I have a private guide with us! He brought out laminated pictures of the islands to show us where we’re going and the sealife we might encounter there, which was very professional indeed.
The group of instructors as well as divers on the boat were very funny and chatty. We enjoyed their banter even though we didn’t join in the fun. Lunch was not delicious, but it wasn’t too bad. We did three islands in total. After the first island, I realised my breathing tube was a little faulty and requested to change it. Swamp Thing obliged without any fuss. The replaced tube served me well for the rest of the trip.
Underwater visibility was not great during this trip but that couldn’t be helped. However, because of Swamp Thing, we were able to ask questions and learn stuff like snorkel techniques and Jellyfish threats. Overall, I had a great experience and might consider taking my Open-water certification here in future. – via

A fantastic company in which to undertake my PADI Open Water Course.
The dive centre’s communication was outstanding throughout and my instructor Jesus (the angry Spaniard LOL) was extremely patient given I hate being told what to do!!
I would highly recommend this company. They were professional, extremely friendly and I felt safe throughout the course, even in some very poor visibility out at sea. Thanks again Gary – via

I was recommended to Kontiki by another dive school owner from Phuket and was not at all let down.
Great staff, two great boats, well organized, smqll groups, well maintained equipment.
I want to lift up especially Dive Instructor Jesus, who went on 3 dives with me today and has proven very routined, calming and overall great person to spend time with above and under the water.
He helped me especially with problems that stem from poor training and has stayed professional throughout, never giving me the feeling to underperform at all.
Thanks Jesus!
Hope to dive again together soon!
I have now already decided to spend the rest of my diving days in ao nang here and look forward to more adventures with Kontiki! – via

This was a fantastic dive center for my PADI Open Water Course. Gary was a great dive instructor, and everyone I met from Kontiki was friendly and helpful. All of the instructors made safety a top priority, making sure to carefully explain the requirements for the dive, triple checking equipment, and ensuring that everyone was comfortable. – via
