Although we did not engage in an Australia Kite Surfari (AKS) paid activity the public should be warned of their inappropriate behaviour. A staff member claimed and posed to be a Ranger whilst making absorbent claims of damaging kite lines layed on a public beach. This occured whilst travelling from north to south on the beach. Made claims of a loss of $800 dollars and indicated he will smash our car with a hammer to the value of $800. We explained to AKS we did no pass the suggested route and recommended he contact the police as indicated. AKS then tried to ram our car with their buggy and drove at high speeds before other families on the beach in a wreckless manner. There are similar reviews on Wiki Camps. Poor form from a business that should promote safe activities as opposed to trying to road rage a beach sand drive for other 4×4 beach goers. This behaviour may suggest AKS doesn’t have Insurance or a form of public liability. – via

A true, remote, kiting paradise. Wake up in the morning, walk 20 meters, pump up and kite. The camp setup just keeps getting better and better each year and has everything you could need. Ant and Paulie are fantastic hosts that make everyone feel welcome. Do yourself a favor and head up here for the ultimate kiting getaway. – via
